R-alpha: old Rdoc 2 new Rdoc
--xk+LtGr+JJ
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Attached is a conversion script for converting current R doc files to
the proposed new format ... I'm not sure if it handles everything
correctly, as I made just some random checks. The main purpose for
posting the thing to the list is such that those interested can get a
look at the new format.

class methods from module where active rec is involved
I have a module as shown below and when I extend an active record to
use it, I can not access the
primary_key method. In a simple test program using a similar approach
where active record is not involved, access to the class methods seems
to work ok. What can I do to make this work or so that I can access
the class methods ?

aggregate printing with S10
Using the following dtrace command, I can see who''s calling what with lots of +/- numbers:
dtrace -n ''fbt:ip:ip_output:entry{@dbtypes[((mblk_t *)arg1)->b_datap->db_type,caller] = count();}''
...the output is what I want but not how I want to see it.
What I''d rather see is the function names associated with caller and for db_type to be output in hex.

Accessing Session Object from a model
i realise that this goes against the basic idea of the MVC architecture,
but i''ve found myself in a situation where i need to get information
about the current user in a model & i''m not sure how to do it.
Basically, we have a product where each customer has their own profile
with data stored in a separate database. There are some tables in a

Zeroing freed blocks
A couple of years ago there was a discussion on lkml under the thread
'PATCH - ext2fs privacy (i.e. secure deletion) patch' about zapping
deleted data in the filesystem as a security mechanism. The discussion
wandered off into how 'chattr +s' could be implemented and whether
encrypting filesystems wouldn't be a better solution to the problem.
I've been maintaining a

What is the history of CONFIG_EXT{2,3}_CHECK?
Can anyone tell me the history of CONFIG_EXT{2,3}_CHECK?
There is code for a "check" option for mount if these options are
enabled, but there's no way to enable them.
TIA

[DTrace] how to get socket read size
Hi
i''m trying to write my first dtrace script apparently i bit off a bit
more than i can chew, i want to track io over sockets, i found your
socketsize.d that gave me how to track writes, but i''m at a loss how
to track reads, frankly i don''t see how your write tracker works
because it uses a probe in a function that only takes two arguments
but you grab size of write

asterisk 1.8 realtime queue_log
Hello!!
is there a way to make asterisk 1.8 record queue_log in MySQL in the same
structure as asterisk 1.6 did?
column time was always inserted in UNIX TIME STAMP format
column data had all the data separated with pipes |
Is it possible to keep the same structure on 1.8 ???

Asterisk 1.8 - ADDMEMBER event in queue_log not using member name
Hi,
Watching my queue_log file content, I can read entries like :
1349940957|1349940957.4|6025|Local/6455 at from-queue/n|ADDMEMBER|
My extensions.conf file used this statement:
exten => *9876,n,AddQueueMember(6025,Local/6455 at from-queue
/n,10,,FOOBAR,hint:6455 at ext-local)
I was expecting to see:
1349940957|1349940957.4|6025|FOOBAR|ADDMEMBER|
Searching the web, I found a reference to

Date/time in queue_log
1250628579|MANAGER|S1140|Agent/265|ADDMEMBER|
Above is an example of a line from the file. Is there an option to
have this date/time output in a way that can be read without
conversion? The date/time in full and messages is formated so it can
be read directly.

queuemetrics with 1.8 queue_log
Hi Guys!
We were using queuemetrics since long time with asterisk 1.2 but recently we have install 1.8 asterisk and but there is a big different in queue_log its saying SIP/XXXX instead of Agent/XXXX that is obvious behaviors. so do i need to change Agent/XXXX to SIP/XXXX in queuemetrics ? or is there any workaround to keep business running same like it was before.

Asterisk queue_log
Dear All,
I'm running asterisk 0.7.1 on a production call center and second call
center on Asterisk CVS-HEAD-05/18/04-01:57:42.
On the Asterisk CVS-HEAD-05/18/04-01:57:42 box I have a queue_log file that
I can use to get statistics.
I get no such file in 0.7.1.
Is this release dependent or is there configuration file I'm missing.
Thanks and Regards

queue_log and exitwithkey
Hello,
I am using Asterisk stable and have a question about the queue_log. It
seems like in the past (although I can't find my old logs) that the
exitwithkey produced a wait time entry. It would seem logical that you
would want to track this. Right now it only shows the key they
pressed, and the position they were in. I want to know how long they
waited before they bailed. Right now I am

I don't get a queue_log with my version of asterisk (0.7.1).
Dear All,
I would like to add this feature to my version of asterisk.
Is there a patch I can apply to get this function?
Does anyone have any instructions for this?
Thanks

Queue_log all calls marked ABANDONED?
I went to run my queue_log parser so that I could send out a monthly
report to one of my customers, and I noticed that every valid call
complete action (COMPLETEAGENT, COMPLETECALLER) is followed by an
ABANDON:
Here is a complete-caller:
1123325015|1123325011.2|mainq|NONE|ENTERQUEUE||00110102102

Multiple queue_log files based on queue - is it possible??
Hello List,
Question: Has anyone been able to create multiple queue_log files in
/var/log/asterisk for multiple queues?
We are designing a multi-tenant system and separating the log files
would be useful, instead of dropping all queue actions into one file.
Is it possible this is a user configurable option I am missing?
Cheers,
