Asterisk and IP500 / IP600 Boot RoM
Hello, Does anybody have the latest Boot ROMs for the IP500 and IP 600 Polycom phones. I have one of each and can't find the Boot ROM v 3 anywhere to download. I would also love a good sample phone.cfg and sip.cfg files from an Aussie asterisk user to look at. Also the ip500 is having problems trying to load the bootrom 2.6.2 ? Any ideas? Post-hoc tests for repeated measures in balanced experimental design
Hi, I am performing experiments in the field of visual perception where we often apply balanced designs. Within a group of normal subjects, we vary different stimulus conditions (like contrast, luminance, temporal frequency of stimulation) and derive some psychophysical or electrophysiological results from our subjects. Often, the main question is to test the effect of these parameters

limit results to specific IDs
How would you go about searching only a specific set of IDs in acts_as_ferret? Should I just create a huge "or" query or is there a more stylish way? Thanks, Winton -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Creating a scrolling effect with slider
I''m currently working on a method to implement a scroller for a div using a slider. I need to do this as an alternative to making a stylish flash scroller with content. The main advantage of this method is to allow the ability to style the sliding elements cross browser (and maybe as a future add on... the ability to have a scroll.to for a scrolling div). This is my first attempt at

Hershey Felder, The Secrets About Musical Instruments And Physics Every sound produced by a musical instrument has a physical explication, the way instruments are created and the type of materials that are used define in a unique way the resulting sound. The sound wave is a transfer of energy that doesn't imply matter. Within a more theoretical approach sounds are Mechanical Longitudinal

Strange problem with... ZFS? Disk? Controller?
Hello, I'm running FreeBSD 9.0/amd64, pure ZFS setup, one Seagate disk ST2000NM0011 SN02 on LSI Logic (mpt) controller. Yes, I know that running one disk on RAID controller is a bit weird, I have to find yet if it is possible to connect disk to internal SATA controller. About two days ago, system became SLOW. Disk usage is constantly 100%, and sometimes I'm getting swap_pager:

Heterogeneous XCP 1.6 pool
Hi, I''ve been trying to use E5520 and X5650 together in an heterogeneous pool without success. I know the combination is not on the official XenServer supported list (http://hcl.xensource.com/CPUPoolsList.aspx), but I thought it would be possible to set the mask anyway and see for myself if the combination works… My problem is that the mask doesn''t "stick" after a

class(<matrix>) |--> c("matrix", "arrary") [was "head.matrix ..."]
<polite mode> > x %inherits% "data.frame" IMHO, I think that user-defined binary operators are being over-used within the R community. I don't think that they're "cute" or stylish. I think their use should be limited to cases, where they significantly increase the readability of the code. However, readability, is a (partly) subjective topic...

Good Will Legal Question
Hi R Team!, ? We are opening a new start up soon, codinghoodies.com, we want to make coders feel stylish. ? Out of goodwill I wanted to ask you formally if I can have permission to use the standard R logo on the front of hoodies to sell? I have read your rules but wanted to ask as I feel a moral right to email you asking to show support and respect for the R project. ? If it makes it easier I
