With multiple parking lots you can give each person their own lot thus
exten
800 for everyone will connect them with just their call passing the lot
name
which you know for X customer.

No voice in MeetMe for SIP with AGI_BACKGROUND
Hello List,
I have seen from the following link that, for SIP channels there is no audio communication possible in MeetMe with AGI_BACKGROUND.
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cmd+MeetMe
Currently we are using asterisk-1.6.2 and the problem still persists. Is there any solution available to overcome this problem? According to our requirement, we have to run an AGI script in MeetMe.

Clustering Meetme over multiple boxes?
Has anyone here done any work on clustering Meetme conferences over
multiple Asterisk boxes? The scenario I am thinking of is where there are
two or more boxes connected to a set of PRIs that all answer to the same
PSTN number, and where it's not possible to know in advance on which box
a call would arrive. So it would be possible to have some calls on one
box and some on another, that should

meetme - conf-invalid
Hi Peoples
I am having problems with meetme, in that it responds with "conf-invalid"
when I dial a conference number.
I notice that there is a note with regards to ztdummy, and the need for that
to be loaded. Is this still the case?
Is meetme dependent on this module? I do NOT use zaptel cards in my system,
and there for zaptel is not loading.
Can anyone shed some light

Is "Meetme" a generic term?
Just a trivial question: was the term "Meetme" invented for Asterisk
as something like a brand name for its conferencing? Or was it an
existing generic term for dial-in conferencing?
Cheers

Someone please try MeetMe MOH with latest CVS and GS phone
I have today reported a bug with the latest channel.c (1.134) that
affects music-on-hold for the first user in a MeetMe room when calling
from a Grandstream BT102. The music is broken up about 5-10 times a
second. It doesn't happen when calling from Firefly. It is also fine
on both clients with 1.133 of channel.c. I am using the ALAW codec.
Mark at Digium can't reproduce the problem,

delays with IAX2 and Meetme
Hi there
I am using IAX2 softphones dialing into meetme conferences. I also have
jitterbuffer=yes, with typical jitterbuffer settings. The problem I am
having is that as soon as there is a delay from a participant, then the
delay continues until the participant hangs up and dials in again. When
dialing in again the delay seems to go.
It seems to me as though as soon as the server registers

MeetMe + IAX2 + Asterisk 1.2.18 = calls dropped
We upgraded our asterisk server to 1.2.18 last night to pick up the
security update. Since then, any calls coming in on IAX2 links get
dropped if they try to enter a MeetMe conference room.
The log shows this:
Apr 26 08:33:16 NOTICE[27362]: chan_iax2.c:3167 iax2_read: I should
never be called! Hanging up.
I've temporarily worked around it by switching our inbound provider to
use SIP

MeetMe and ChannelRedirect
Hi,
i'm trying to implement the following scenario:
- A user calls number 700
- Asterisk then dials to extensions 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500
- And then bridges all calls to a conference room
I tried to use MeetMe and ChannelRedirect, but seems that after
channel redirect nothing more is executed. So, this seem to work for the
caller and first called, but the others

Meetme define context
Hi All,
I'm still having trouble trying to figure out if it is possible to define
(in the dial plan) a context for meetme?
I'm using 1.4.4 with dialplan logic of:
exten => 123,1,Meetme(,Msa,)
This defaults to conferences defined within the rooms context of meetme.conf
Is it possible to specify another context as with voicemail?
Or can any one think of another

restrictions on meetme with agi background
I am reading comments on the Wiki for meetme
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+cmd+MeetMe
from 2004 about how and AGI does work with non zap channels.
Is this still valid 3 years later and 1.4.4?
How do I bring people into a meetme and play a message to all of them
when they are on SIP channels?

this.

Suggested MeetMe feature: 'i' without review.
I recently setup app_meetme with the 'i' option. My boss wants users to
say their name and go directly into the conference instead of reviewing
the recording.
If anyone else is interested in this behavior becoming an option, has a
suggestion what letter to use as the option (I was thinking 'i' -- with
review and 'I' -- without review), or anything else, I'd appreciate

MeetMe - Annouce user join/leave without recording the name
Hi all,
I an using MeetMe and I would like to use the -i function to annouce the
join/leave of the user.
However, this require that users record their names. Is there anyway to
remove this?
I just want MeetMe to annouce somethig like "A new user has joined the
conference" and that need not to record user's name. Is there a way to
do this??

MeetMe announcements and SIP channels
Just curious if anyone knows of any hacks to enable announce entry/exit
in MeetMe conferences with SIP (as opposed to ZAP) channels since the |i
option will not work with SIP.
Thanks,

MeetMe and admin users
Hi
Is there an option on MeetMe that means the conference room is only
available if an admin user is logged in?
I've had a look the the application from the asterisk cli but I can't
really see what I'm after.
Currently using 1.4.17 (deb package)
Soon moving up to 1.8.2 (rpm package)
Thanks in advance

meetme sounds
I am playing around with dynamic meetme conferences, and wanted to have
one person constantly in the conference, with calls "popping in and out".
Is there an option / any way of playing enter / leave sounds to the
person who created the conference only, and not the people leaving /
joining ?
TIA
Julian.

MeetMe Listen Only flag (|m)
One of the features that I thought would be popular with the Web-MeetMe
suite is the ability to start all non-admin callers in a muted state and
selectively unmute them. For example any large conference that is
of an announcment nature with a Q&A session.
It's probably a feature I should have tested better, but I just
discovered
that a caller that is joined to a MeetMe with the |m flag
