Soyo G668 + Asterisk
Hello Has anyone been able to get the Soyo G668 phone to work with Asterisk? I've been playing with it for two days and I haven't had any luck. I've got a soft IP phone(xten) to work fine. If anyone has a sample config page that would be great. Thanks Aaron -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

chan_unical-MFC/R2 CPU usage problem
Hi All, I have installed chan_unicall and MFC/R2 successfully, and is runnign fine. But I noticed that once unicall is installed, asterisk CPU usage as reported by 'top', jumps to 99% every few seconds. I have no incoming calls, and I have even removed the E1 lines from card and I tried almost everything possible but I was not successful in determining the cause of this high cpu

S101I (IAX) limitation
That little Digium adapter S101I is a nice and compact (good for travel) but has a serious limitation, it doesn't support bridging. If I have four/five of these units registered to my asterisk server (over the Internet) and with standard DSL or Cable connection all for of them connected and in use (utilizing G711); my upload bandwidth will get saturated as all of them have to go via my

Cisco 7960
Anyone know if it is possible to load your own XML scripts on to the phone, bypassing the Cisco CallManager? I am still waiting for my phone to arrive, but I have been playing with Cisco's phone services emulator, and that doesn't seem to like anything I pass to it. If it is possible, anyone want to share any sample scripts they have. --Mike

PA168S/AT320P
Hi all! I've got a problem with thia PA168S/AT320P telephone. I got 2 servers: one with SER and the other with Asterisk. All users are on SER and Asterisk is the gateway/voicemail. In these days I'm starting some tests using Asterisk accounts users. With this PA168S/AT320P, if I use it with a user from SER, it's ok but I can forget to use it with Asterisk users!!! I've also updated

For those of you who may be interest.... IAX2 loads are now available for the standard builds... http://www.aredfox.com/edownloadsiax2.htm Just a word of caution... ext3 and highpoint RAID.
oops. I successfully installed RedHat 8.0 onto two ATA133 80gig drives running a mirrored RAID with the hpt37x (highpoint 372 onboard RaidController on the SOYO DRAGON motherboard.) I used ext3 as my filesystem type of choice but unfortunately the system shut down uncleanly and it now is coming up with the "press Y to force file system integrity check" at boot.... which it runs by

supermin (chroot+systemd.resolved) - network cannot be configured on Ubuntu
Hi, I am facing the following bug while runnign guestfish on Ubuntu Bionic onward, where the network cannot be configured : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/supermin/+bug/1824236 The actual problem is the combination of (a) supermin and the fact that it does chroot and (b) a dhclient hook present in Bionic (/etc/dhcp/dhclient-eneter-hooks.d/resolved) that overwrites the make_resolv_conf

Zapata FXO always answers call?
I have some X100P connected to my analog PBX. When I want to call an analog extension on that PBX I use the following rule: exten => _21XX,1,Dial(Zap/g1/${EXTEN:2},20) where 21 is just a prefix to indicate it?s an analog extension and XX matches the real two digit extension number. (this is why I strip of two digits when dialing Zap/g1. Well, everything works fine, except that * says on

WinBUGS with R
Dear Users, I am new to both of things, so do not blame me too much... I am busy with semiparametric regression and use WinBUGS to sample posteriors. The code to call Winbugs is as follows: data <- list("y","X","n","m") #My variables inits.beta <- rep(0,K) inits.beta0 <- 0 inits <-

SIP transfers failing
Hullo :) I'm using Debian's Asterisk 1.0.7 bristuffed (though I'm only using CAPI for ISDN, and not HFC-S cards) and trying to transfer an incoming SIP call from sipgate.co.uk to any other extension. My phones are AT-320s (PA168S 1.43 firmware) whose documentation says to blind transfer, simply dial the number you want to transfer to, and press 'FWD'... This is what

How to encode Non-English directories and filenames
Hello All, I have a custom client which successfully connects to the SSH server both on cygwin/OpenSSH-server running on windows and to standard SSH servers runnign on Linux. If I send a command like the following in bytes: ==== mkdir <Shift_JIS_characters> ==== after having encoded the whole command in bytes with Shift_JIS, to a linux SSH server ... it works. BUT if I send a similar

Script to Restart Zaptel
We are runnign into problems where our legacy PBX reaches a frame loss threshold and takes it's T1 card offline (the T1 card that interfaces with the Asterisk servers TE110P). During this time, the Asterisk server senses a Yellow alarm. We've noticed that if we quit asterisk, stop zaptel, start zaptel, start asterisk that the alarm condition clears on the legacy PBX. We'd like to be
