Scenario 0 ¡V SAMBA 3.0.22
Hello Lads,
I have a PDC & BDC / Master & Slave; I regularly make backups of the LDAP
database:
Slapcat ¡Vv ¡Vl backupallusers.txt.
Both my PDC & BDC have been rebuilt from scratch, I slapadd ¡Vv ¡Vl
backupallusers.txt and I net set localsid domainsidhere for the PDC << I get
that from the backupallusers.txt.
Smbpasswd ¡Vw secret < on both PDC & BDC

samba 3.0.22 possible bug - sid for bdc
Hello Lads,
Problem could be smbldap-tools, im using 0.97.
I have manually set the sid on the bdc which seems to work.
I am confused because I thought net rpc getsid stored the sid from the pdc
on the bdc in secrets. I wasn't aware that net getlocalsid should return
identical results on both pdc & bdc. Please explain this - why isnt the BDC
obtaining the sid automatic as it should

Debian dovecot news
I uploaded 0.99.10.6 to sid. Owing to the importance of the dot lock fix,
I've tried to have this pushed to sarge quickly. Let's see how that goes.
I've prepared a backport of 0.99.10.6 to woody which should be showing up
on www.backports.org soon hopefully. In the meantime, if you desperately
need it and don't mind working out dependencies yourself, you can find it

Flexible rbind
Dear All,
I am trying to create a empty structure that I want to fill gradually
through the code.
I want to use something like rbind to create the basic structure first.
I am looking for a possibility to do an rbind where the columns names
dont match fully (but the missing columns can be defaulted to either
zero or n/a) (my actual data has a lot of columns).
Please see the data frames below

Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 25
Hi,
Updating zaptel gives me this during the make. Any
ideas, the
searches and Wiki gives me no hints.

1.0-test20
http://dovecot.org/test/
One more for today :) Again mostly mbox fixes and optimizations. Don't
try it with maildir because it crashes with COPY and APPEND commands.
This release supports now UIDPLUS extension. It was mostly a side
effect of making saving mails store the X-UID header immediately to
mbox and adding the mail to index.
So, a Dovecot LDA would finally make sense now. Besides

pidgin-sipe on Centos-6/64
Hi!
Wondering if anyone here has been able to get the (3-rd party) SIPE
plugin (pidgin-sipe) working on Centos-6 with the C6 version of pidgin?
I've just started looking at it and after a little messing around have
no joy. Before I waste more time on it I thought I'd ask.
what I've done so far:
--download the latest binary from the Suse build service, allegedly one built
for EL-5.

Missing something else - pidgin-sipe
I installed pidgin-sipe, since my googling seemed to suggest it would give
me connectivity with Lync. I now see the SIMPLE protocol... but not Office
Communicator. What am I missing here?
CentOS 7, updated.

Many troubles in CentOS 6 since the last update of GLibc-2.12-1.149.el6
Hi all,
I would like to know if these troubles affect also other people, for
example, I can no longer connect to Sipe (Lync) network by Pidgin since
the Glibc has been updated and now I've just discovered that it was no
longer possible to take screenshots with gnome-screenshot, I always
receive an error message telling: "Unable to save the screenshot to disk:

[PATCH v2 1/3] drm: switch drm_fb_memcpy_dstclip to accept __iomem dst
Not all archs have the __io_virt() macro, so cirrus can't simply convert
pointers that way. The drm format helpers have to use memcpy_toio()
instead.
This patch makes drm_fb_memcpy_dstclip() accept a __iomem dst pointer
and use memcpy_toio() instead of memcpy(). With that separating out the
memcpy loop into the drm_fb_memcpy_lines() helper isn't useful any more,
so move the code back

RFC: Cleaning up the Itanium demangler
Hello all,
The itanium demangler in libcxxabi (and also, llvm/lib/Demangle) is
really slow. This is largely because the textual representation of the
symbol that is being demangled is held in a std::string, and
manipulations done during parsing are done on that string. The demangler
is always concatenating strings and inserting into the middle of
strings, which is terrible. The fact that the
