Re: libvirt-users Digest, Vol 73, Issue 12 ] Failure when attaching a device
Hi,
I think that issue is due to the fact that my Guest is a transient domain.
When shutting down it or migrating to another host , then virsh list --all doesn't show this Guest anymore.
How may I make this Guest a persistent one ?
( i.e. this Guest has been created via RHEV-M GUI)
Thx for hlep.
Regards,
J.P.

Re: LARTC Digest, Vol 20, Issue 4
Hi,
I think you now have 2 Links to the internet. You want to route web traffic
(transparent proxy triffic) via one link and the rest via the other link.
If it is the case, It is possible to do. I have done it.
here I have mentioned eth0 and eth1
eth0 is connected to one link (link1)
eth1 is connected to other link (link2) , via this link, web traffic will be
routed.
echo 210 link1 >>

RE: Shorewall-users Digest, Vol 3, Issue 64
Did I just read completely past this or is this an undocumented feature?
Either way, thanks.
BTW for my first attempt at a Linux firewall, this proved to be a challenge,
but worth it. And most of the problems I''ve had are I/O (idiot operator)
errors. Keep up the good work.

[Bridge] Bridge Digest, Vol 36, Issue 8
Julian,
I did not understand what you meant by this paragraph.
"Now, for the twist. For development and testing, I assigned an ip
address and gateway to the bridge. I need to be able for a "non-it"
person to install this box without having to set it up at all , so it
cannot have an ip address assigned, as it *may* be in use somewhere else
on the lan or router."

Re: LARTC Digest, Vol 34, Issue 12
Hey Marek,
I´know that i must to works whith the INGRESS (instead of EGRESS), i´ve well
formed my kernel. My others TC rules for source IP address (not for MAC
address) does work fine...!!!, the problem is whith the MAC because is a not
"IP PROTOCOL" and for that i must to use the "u32/u16 match" to solve it,
and if i make an analogy from my others INGRESS rules applied to Src

Yes, I also think that iptables module should be loaded before libvirt-bin
and I have seen a post which regarded loading conntrack modules and these
modules also seem to be necessary...
I know a little about Upstart in Ubuntu. However, I still don't know how to
properly solve this problem.
ip_tables module depend on other modules being loaded and since I don't know

Voicemail recording cutoff when silent for 1 second
I have a new asterisk install (1.0.7) - and in case it's relevant I'm
not using autoload option in modules.conf. Generally all is working
well. However, when I make a call from my softphone and try to leave a
message, the message is cutoff after a few seconds (whenever I pause for
1 second between words). Strangely, when I use an analog phone
connected to my ATA, I can record as long as
