Asterisk Demo
Hi,
I need to setup a demo for asterisk and need some help here please. The demo
is connecting to Asterisk a Cisco 7970 SIP (ver. &.0) and a SIP client on HP
iPAQ via a wireless hotspot. I need to configure both with the same
extension with a shared line like in Cisco CallManager. This way if the
extension is called both iPAQ and the IP phone ring and the user gets to
pick up using either.

Asterisk/Cisco Call Manager 3.3
I need to pick all the Asterisk and Cisco People a little.
My company has a Cisco Call Manager 3.3, configured via h323 gateways. I
have remote users that I want to place a SIP Server on the external WAN
and be able to connect their phones to the system and be able to get calls
and call people in the office going through the Cisco Call Manager and the
h323 router. My only problem is that Cisco

Callmanager 3.3(5) and Asterisk with ooh323
I have experience problems like this in a different scenario. It is
usually due to codec translation problem.
What is the default codec set on CCM for the IP Phone and the default
set in Asterisk? Make sure the defaults are the same. Try G.711

Asterisk to PSTN
I have installed Asterisk@Home on a PC here and need to have it forward
calls to the PSTN. We have Cisco CallManager 3.3.4. However I found out that
this version doesn't support configuring SIP Trunks. Is there an alternative
solution. Thanks

Cisco Callmanager & Asterisk for Voicemail revisited
Some of you may remember back in May the thread on using Asterisk as a
voicemail server for a Cisco Callmanager system.
My own Callmanager system is integrated into an Asterisk server for
voicemail (and other things). Back in May I was using H323 for
integration, but since I've upgraded to CCM 4.1 I have switched over
to SIP.
The integration with H323 required using Call forwarding to send

I will have 4 physical phone lines and 10 IP phones for it to use. I have a

Is getting TDM400P - 4port FXO from digium enough to start? Do I need
anything else?
Thank you

did not find an answer to my problem.
I have a VoIP network working fine with multiple gateways registered to a
Cisco H.323 Gatekeeper. I have successfully registered Asterisk as a GW in
that network and also successfully registered two X-Lite SIP Client to
asterisk that call to each other.
I want to connect to

Dial through IAX to FWD
Hi..
I am trying to do something but it is giving me some hard time here. I have
an IAX2 trunk to FWD which is registered and working just fine. I have =>
011|. as my dial pattern to allow that. But if I want to dial a toll free
number I would have to dial 011*1800XXXXXXX
What trunk dial rule should I use to enable anyone to call a toll free
number by simply dialing 1800XXXXXX instead of

Cisco Call Manager & Asterisk for Voicemail
Has anybody successfully (or I guess unsuccessfully for that matter)
implemented Cisco Call Manager and used an * box for voicemail? I
checked the wiki and google and I see some references to Call Manager
Express and *, but CME is completely different than CM. If anybody has
done this or has any insight, it would be appeciated. We are trying to
migrate ~ 300 users off of Cisco Unity and

SIP WEB Phone (Wanna implement Click to Call)
Hi,
I appreciate it if someone knows what is available for SIP web phones out
there. I am interested in putting a soft phone on a website that registers
with Asterisk using SIP. Then, when someone uses it, it directly calls into
an asterisk call queue..
Any ideas?

Asterisk and Cisco IP Phones
Hello Everyone,
I want to start using Asterisk with Cisco IP Phones 7960 / 7940/ and 7905.
Any info or help is appreciated.
I know I'll have to use SIP but if I want to use the phones off site meaning
from my home for example, how can this be done?
Also, regarding external lines what are the options for Asterisk?
Thanks
