I want to replace my Windows 2000 file server with Redhat Enterprise 4. I
have configured SAMBA as a domain member file server. It works without any
problem. When I try to copy files/folder from Windows file server to Redhat
server via the ways below, I prompt "access denied" message.
At linux:

Re:Re:Re...Failed to verify incoming ticket!
Hi Jerry,
I wrote in my last message that I could connect to Samba Server with
different netbios name, not same as the hostname ..
Bu now I can't.
While I was working on it I saw such a thing . But I don't now how it

My problem is still same as before.
This problem stays on my way as a huge rock :(

Samba permission settings ... Server 777 ... wks 755!?
I have one Samba share on my server (RH9). The permission on the shared
folders/files are set to 777. The owner of the files/folders is let's say X.
When I mount the share on my workstation (Mandrake 9.1) using the username,
uid and gid option (of user X) the owner of the files that I see at the mount
point is still X, but the permissions are now 755. Why aren't the

How to extend alias analysis to enable further optimisations?
Hello,
We have developed a compiler analysis for multi-threaded codes that
identifies functions which do not modify global variables. Furthermore, the
analysis checks that accesses performed before the function call, do not
target the same location as accesses performed after the call (hence, the
variables accessed before and after the call do not alias).
We want to integrate this analysis

echocancellation in modem.conf
I have a ISDN BRI card with hisax module (w6692) and there is a lot of echo
when I make calls to outside. Between the sip softphones the echo doesn't
exist, but when I call to outside through the ISDN the echo exist.
Is there any sense to put echocancellation in modem.conf ?

Bug#255560: logcheck-database: More Postfix rules
Package: logcheck-database
Version: 1.2.22a
Severity: normal
Thanks to the upgrade to Postfix 2.1 and deploying a newer logcheck
ruleset on a busier server I've found a bunch more rules for Postfix.
I've attached new rules files and patches are inline.
The following patch is for violations.ignore.d:
--- logcheck-postfix.orig 2004-06-21 20:11:14.000000000 +0100
+++ logcheck-postfix

ZAPHFC Drop calls
Hi everybody,
I had an ISDN card with winbond chipset and isdn4linux, but there was a lot of
echo when call from SIP to ISDN, so I buy an HFC chipset card (Conceptronic
c128i). I downloaded and compiled bristuff-0.2.0-RC5 and everything is going
fine. The sound quality is excellent, there is no echo, but i have a strange
problem. Sometimes calls made from SIP phones to ISDN just finished
