Missing 31 DTMF tones over ZAP
Hello, I'm posting this to the list in case others run into the same issue. I've recently been connecting * to a legacy Avaya InDEX switch over E1 ISDN PRI here in the UK. Everything was working OK, except that DTMF digits were not being recognised by * when sent by the Avaya switch to the * system. Instead, the background noise of the call centre would be silenced while

Quotes from BHH2e
Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a seminar by George Box where he discussed some of the ideas that will be incorporated in the second edition of Box, Hunter, and Hunter "Statistics for Experimenters" due out in a few months. At the end of the presentation he distributed a list of quotes from the book and I felt that many of these would be appealing to members of this

I have a plot where the values of the y axis go from a positive number to a negative number and I want the x axis to intercept at zero rather than at the bottom of the y axis, regardless of its value. Which Java FastAGI implementation has the most "market share"?
When I was looking for a Java FastAGI interface for Asterisk I came across asterisk-java first and didn't realize there was more than one out there. It seems to work fine and I've got my first project working with it, but I was wondering which Java FastAGI implementation is the most popular and how they compare against each other. So I'm aware of: asterisk-java JastAGI

par$csi
Dear R-help, I'm using 63.3 on windows NT. The improved graphics device has a problem in that the default par settings produce text that is way too small (63.2 seemed fine). I've compared the parameters between 63.3 and 63.2 and the ones that differ are : cin, cra, csi, mai, pin, plt. In the par help file, cin and cra have no documentation other than that they are read only, the last

build system for cutting edge software
Hi, I use centos as it is stable and provides all the software that is needed for everyday use. However, sometimes I would like to use fresh software that is not available as a package. Compiling from source is indeed an option but because centos uses oldish sources not only the sought package should be built but a lot of other packages. An idea is to build it in a directory, as much
