Junghanns quadBRI on Dell PowerEdge
Hi,
we are trying to install Junghann's quadBRI into Dell PowerEdge 2800
system without success.
I don't know if the issue can be that Junghann's card fits 32-bit slot
and Dell PE 2800 has
only 3 PCI-X 64-bit slots. Can this be an issue?
We get "CRC errors for HDLC frame" when the card is initialized. Any
idea what can be wrong?
1/ We use latest bristuff packages.

TE110P w/ Dell SC1420 ... any problems out there?
I have a customer that has a Dell SC1420. They want to use that as
their Asterisk server w/ a Digium TE110P.
Digium's website doesn't mention this server one way or the other in
their compatibility list. Is there anyone out there using the SC1420?
If so, any problems?
Cheers,

Server Requirements
Hi,
I'm looking to stream a large amount of conncurrent connects and want to
use icecast probably on a CentOS base. The bandwidth requirements are over
60 Mbps before any overheads, I'm looking at using some Dell SC1425 machines
but am not sure how many I'd need, I'd appreciated hearing your experiences
and suggestions.
I need to be able to stream the following simultaneous

W2K Workstation not reading NTConfig.pol
I have recently set up an small SAMBA network(just my
server and a W2K SP4 Workstation). My Server is acting
as a PDC. Everything seems to work flawlessly, users,
roaming profiles, netlogon script, etc... But I cannot
make this machine to read my NTConfig.pol file.
I have it at my NETLOGON share [/srv/netlogon] with
rwxr-xr-x permissions. I have tried with different

ethtool and mii-tool don''t work under xen
Tested on identical hardware (Dell SC1425) with a non-xen kernel, it
wroks fine. However under Xen, this is what happens:
xen1 ~ # ethtool eth0
Settings for eth0:
No data available
xen1 ~ # mii-tool eth0
SIOCGMIIPHY on ''eth0'' failed: Operation not supported
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Shutdown and IPMI
I have a Dell PowerEdge SC1425 server and I installed Xen with Debian on
it. When I plug the power in, I''m able to access the server via IPMI.
After I start the machine, IPMI is still available. But when I command a
shutdown on dom0, it will go down and say "Power down", stay there and
IPMI is not available anymore. Only after I remove the power cord and
replug it is the

Dell Server Question
Hi all,
We're planning an Asterisk implementation consisting of two SC1425 Dell
Servers using Digium T1 cards and SATA drives. The problem I'm having
is the only PCI slot shares an IRQ with the SATA controller. Any
altering of one device's IRQ takes the other device's IRQ with it in
lockstep. I've disabled all non-essential integrated devices with no
change. I'm a

Asterisk CTI interface to control legacy PBX
Hello,
I am looking for a way to control another legacy PBX from Asterisk using
a CTI interface. Are you aware of any legacy PBX CTI control card that
can be controlled by Asterisk? I have an Avaya PBX with CTI interface
and researching if I can connect Asterisk to this. :-)
Thanks for any hints.

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer
Hi,
Running MySQL Cluster datanode (a process of large memory which checkpoints
data to disk periodically) on a 2xXeon Dell PowerEdge SC1425
(2.6.9-5.ELsmp#1 SMP x86_64), and recieved this notice in
/var/log/messages. The datanode
process crashed, and using the partition after this seemed to hang
processes, eg ls /data/ would hang. Reboot fixed this, boot.log states that
the partition was clean,

Echo problems on ISDN. (mainly incoming calls)
OK I have been battling with echo problems with asterisk on ISDN for a
few weeks now, and still can't solve it (although I think I have tried
everything I can find.)
I will try a post everything I think is possibly relevant that I can
remember with the hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Centos 5.6 Kernel Panics
Hello,
Recently our dell sc1425 server has been locking up with kernel freezes
and required a hard reboot on each occasion. I've looked on the centos
forums with limited success - each problem seems slightly different
(some failure on high load, some not). Our kernel is 2.6.18-274.17.1.el5
and /var/log/messages show the following errors:

Nearing my wits end....bad switch???
Grasping at straws here...is anyone using a Dell PowerConnect 2224
24-port unmanaged 10/100 switch in a deployment?
I have two separate asterisk installations with bad one-way audio where
the only common elements left are the Dell switches and Polycom IP-500
phones. Two different ITSPs - one location uses IAX2 to the outside
world, the other SIP. Two different bandwidth providers, one SDSL 1.5
