how to distinguish the "ringing" and "connected" for zap channel
I have a TDM card in a asterisk machine. I found that once I used it to call out, the call status changed to "connected" even the callee is still ring. How could asterisk distinguish the "ringing" and "connected" in zap channel? thanks.

Results of nessus scan
I run samba 2.2.8a on my openbsd 3.4 box, installed from a package. All i need is the ability to mount disks form winxp boxes so i only run smbd, at 139/tcp. I tried scanning the box with nessus, and it came up with some results that got me curious. Since i dont know very much about the smb protocol I thought i should ask here. Have searched the archives but found only old posts, concering

Centos security update
Thanks for the replies. The tool that we used for testing the security vulnerability is "Nessus". I have glibc version 2.17-78.el7, I saw that CVE-2015-0235 (Ghost) is fixed in this version and I want to apply patch for the vulnerbailities CVE-2015-1472 & CVE-2015-1473. Can you please help me in finding the right version that has fixes for these? Thanks On Sat, Apr 25, 2015 at

Running nessus on freebsd...
I'm trying to get nessus setup for doing some internal security checking. I installed the ports for nessus and nessus-plugins, and everything worked as expected. I then registered for the full feed of plugins, which got me up to over 10,000 plugins. I restarted nessus, and it didn't work at all. I am running without X11, so I'm doing batch runs. I already have nmap installed, so I

Shorewall 2.2.1 and open ports
Hello all, I’m running Shorewall 2.2.1 on linux kernel 2.6.10 with iptables 1.2.11. I recently ran a nessus scan of my firewall from a machine outside of the firewall and the nessus report told me that there are some ports open that I did not specify to be open. The ports are 32772/udp, 123/udp, 111/tcp, 32772/udp, and 53/udp. Why are these ports open when I did NOT specify them to be open

Introspecting Active Record Associations
Hi, I''m looking into write scaffold generators that will, amoung other things, scaffold active record associations (eg. generate select boxes for belongs_to where you can choose a parent object) for quicker prototyping. But... My question is: Is there anyway of finding out what associations exist from examining the lodel classes themselves or indeed any other way of finding out this

SSL Ciphers
I have dovecot running as a pop3s server on port 995 it works great with sendmail and I run nessus to check security issues nessus reports this The SSLv2 server offers 3 strong ciphers, but also 0 medium strength and 2 weak "export class" ciphers. The weak/medium ciphers may be chosen by an export-grade or badly configured client software. They only offer a limited protection against

NFS Client with quota
Thanks Patrick. For Solaris, quota can be set when mounting from NFS client. There is a transition from Solaris to CentOS 6 this time. Therefore, quota setting is required for NFS mounting from CentOS 6 as with Solaris. Is it still impossible for CentOS 6? koji On Sun, 2 Apr 2017 14:44:59 +0200 Patrick B??gou <Patrick.Begou at legi.grenoble-inp.fr> wrote: > Quota are managed at the

LDAP NULL BASE Search Access to Samba4
Recently, i scanned my samba4.1 server by Nessus (a vulnerability scanner tool - http://www.tenable.com/products/nessus) Nessus says that Samba4 is vulnerable to "LDAP NULL BASE Search Access" as "The remote LDAP server may disclose sensitive information." Further it says that - The remote LDAP server supports search requests with a null, or empty, base object. This allows

-x and include-only
Hello, I tried to follow the instructions in the man page, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I am trying to use rsync as the core of my backup system, remotely connecting to clients over ssh using a key with forced rsync command. The problem is that I want to be carefull not to include network mounts and/or cd/dvds. But, I do want to include seperate mounts, such as /boot and /home.

Little strangeness on dns-* account...
The dns-COMPUTER-NAME "user" contains the dns/SPN so be very carefull here and dont remove this user. Normaly, you would have exected to have the DNS/spn on the serverObject in the AD. So imo yes, a small bug, but as Andrew told this is intended. Adding : isCriticalSystemObject: TRUE Should not be needed. What i would do here is, use the description field. ( DNS Service Account

ipip and nexthdr
After carefull reading (LARTC) and experimentation, I am in a dead end... I am using several IPIP tunnels (linux ipip module, IP protocol 4). I''d like to filter packets going through these tunnes to different classes, on the ingress device, based on source and destination IP _INSIDE THE TUNNEL_. First I tried the nexthdr bit. As explained in LARTC, nexthdr jumps to the next header

[LLVMdev] TargetFrameInfo: what's local area offset
The TargetFrameInfo, amoung other things, specifies "local area offset" -- which, as comment say, is: the offset of the local area from the stack pointer on entrance to a function. The question is -- what's local area? Is this the first stack location which can be used by function for allocating its own variables? - Volodya

Samba 4 - disabling SSLv3 to mitigate POODLE effects
Good Day All Sorry if this is a repeated email, but I need some information about how to disable SSL on a Samba4.2.2 AD domain controller as the nessus scanner is reporting the POODLE vulnerability and we are not allowed to have any of that in our environment. the nessus scan reports poodle vulnerability on all these ports: 443, 636, 3269 I had a look at previous posts but couldn't find a

Backup of virtualized Samba4 AD
Hi there, current situation: we have a Samba4 AD running on a VMware ESX-Cluster (ha/failover, ha-nfs-stores). I'm doing backups with ghetto VCB. Until now I only did "Snapshot-backups". But I know, that this way of backups is not the best way for domaincontrollers. I'm now planning to do backups by shutting down the VM, then doing backup and then starting machine again.

Calling all Hackers
Hey guys. I have a server that is owned by me and can confirm through servint that it is owned by me. I would like to do a penetration test and of course to allow you to upload files on the server and kind of trash it to the point where it is always restarting and running out of memory etc etc. This is going to be mainly script kiddie stuff, however will be able to get you hired on with me for
