Setting Windows drivers gives access denied error
Good morning!
For some time I have been experiencing a problem with adding Windows
drivers for printers available and configured in CUPS already. Not being
utterly familiar with how the process works I first tried it as root
from different Windows machines, both W2K and XP Pro. I saw the driver
files being uploaded, but then got an error message 'Printer settings
could not be saved.

MeetMe through DeadAGI has changed to return -1 on Hangup
I have a "support call" AGI script that has been working
flawlessly for a couple of years now. It dumps the customer into a
MeetMe conference room, then dials a bunch of support engineers,
and connects anyone who accepts the call into the conference room.
The conference room is recorded. After the support call is over,
the recording is emailed to a list for quality control, etc.

Can any one help I'm trying to install asterisk on suse 9.3 pro from cvs
release v1_0 version 1.0.9 and when I try to make from the asterisk

Is there anybody that could give me a pointer as to what the issue may be?

Crash with app_mixmonitor
Hello All,
I posted a bug on the 14th of this month, and haven't heard anything
back. However, I've since discovered that the problem is not in
chan_iax.c as I originally thought, it's actually app_mixmonitor.c.
Basically when I use 1.4.26.2 with an ilbc codec between two asterisk
servers trunked via IAX, with mixmonitor Asterisk crashes on me.
Here's a link to the post:

Installation of Asterisk addons 1.0.7 fails (longish)
Good morning!
Sorry if this gets posted twice, I tried via NNTP before, and it didn't
seem to work.
After having downloaded the tarball for Asterisk addons via FTP from
ftp.asterisk.org I am trying to install it following the instructions on
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+addon+asterisk-addons, so far
without success.
Could somebody maybe advise where I am taking the wrong path?

UniMRCP and Asterisk 14
When I look at the lastest UniMRCP manual, they only mention as high as
Asterisk 13. Does anybody know if I need to do anything to allow it
to work on Asterisk 14 and, if so, what that is?

I released app_changrab.c lastnight really late... It includes a way

compiling cvs-head today?
Anyone having problems compiling the current cvs head this morning?
New cvs checkout on RH9, followed by appropriate make clean and make
install. System was running cvs head from Nov 23 with TDM card, PRI,
SIP phones on local wire, and IAX.
Appears zaptel and libpri compiled correctly, however the first attempt
in the asterisk src directory yielded:
gcc -pipe -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes

rnorm??
I am wondering whether there is a bug in rnorm.
When generating rnorm(1000000) and counting
the cases > 4 and the cases < (-4) I get rather
unexpectedly low counts for the latter. The problem goes away
when using qnorm(runif(1000000)).

[LLVMdev] Code instruction selection based on SSA-graphs
Hi,
LLVM already uses dynamic-programming based optimal pattern matching
selectors for some of the target architectures. But as far as I know,
the code is first converted out of the SSA form, before the selection
process takes place. The same approach is used by many other compilers.
But there is an article from Erik Eckstein, where a different method is
proposed. In the described approach, the

RE: 1st thought: was: help (Still) w2k pro no longer trusted by 2.2.3 pdc
Thanks for the suggestions Trevor. Reformatting in case someone else has problem too: MY COMMENTS are in CAPS to make easier to understand.

a) I (had) same problem, if I remember correctly,
my trusted accounts had names too long (>14 characters) (1)
and there was a CAPS issue, make sure all is correct,
even if windows forces caps when you're using lowercase.

[LLVMdev] Help needed after hiatus
Hi,
I've restarted my Elsa/LLVM project after three months of having real
life intrude. I upgraded my LLVM source to the current trunk. I had to
make a few changes to my source, e.g. LLVMFoldingBuilder became
IRBuilder and several instances of "new" became "Create".
Now, a test case that previously succeeded fails. I run the following
script:
#!/bin/sh
if [ 1 -ne 0 ]

collating columns
Dumb newbie question: I've searched the manual, R help and the mailing list
archives, but can't seem to find the answer to this simple problem that I
have. If I have a series of columns in a dataframe: (A, B, C ...) and I want
to merge them with another series of columns (Z,Y,X ...) such that the
resulting data frame has columns A,Z,B,Y,C,X ..., how do I do this? In other
words, I'm
