Help with denighing access to certain numbersbyCallerID
Sounds like what I had in mind, could you point me in the right
direction to an example of agi scripts that might do this :-). I'm not
well versed in the ways of the AGI and would flounder significantly.

Help with denighing access to certain numbers by CallerID
Hi,
Asterisk 1.0.7
TE405P - Port 1 - ISDN30 telco
- Port 4 - Primary Rate connection to Phone system
The system has a mixture of 20+ sip phones and the 50 odd extensions on
the phone system connected to Port 4.
What I want to accomplish is to be able to denigh access to certain
outgoing phone calls by the extension/callerid the call originated from.
i.e. Only certain sip and telephone

porting numbers in UK telewest/bt/adept
A client used to use BT isdn30 and ported the numbers to telewest
several years ago.
Now, the client moved to adept telecom. I *think* adept resells BT
products. We got new numbers from adept (bt?) and the old pbx on the
telewest lines forwards the calls to the new numbers.
On the adept line I got a digium card in an opteron supermicro server.
ztcfg gives me over 99.99 pretty much all the time.

No audio on ISDN PRI calls
Hello,
I have a Sangoma A101 connected to an ISDN30 (E1 in the UK) with some
Snom 300 and Idefisk softphones.
I can do SIP and IAX2 calls just fine, however I cant get any audio in
either direction on the Zap channels. When I call in or dial out over
the ISDN30 (UK E1) I can see the call answered/placed
on the CLI and then silence follows.
I've been provisioned 25 out of the 31 channels only

Cant get authenticated readwrite and guest readonly configured properly
Hi, I've spent the past 4 and a half hours trying to figure out how to
configure Samba the way I want, and I'm starting to wonder if what I
want to do is impossible. I've read the man page for smb.conf trying to
figure out what magic combination of options will work, and have scoured
as much Samba documentation as I can find looking for the right recipe,
but I'm having no luck.

DASS2 support
My employer wants to use Asterisk, but the E1 circuit providing the current
phone system is DASS2 rather than ISDN30. Converting the E1 to ISDN30 is not
a practical proposition at this time as it'd stop the legacy phone system
from working.
Is there any sort of hardware support for DASS2? I speculate that the E100P
should be able to deal with the electrical side of it, but I'm unsure of

Haven't got a clue ...
On how to even search for this "feature" as I have no idea on what it can
be.
I've got a meridian linked to * (by EuroISDN) which is linked to a ISDN30.
I can make calls from the meridian, and receive calls into the meridian.
Great stuff.
However, if someone dials an invalid number, then instead of hearing a
"three tone", the line just drops and goes dead. The console

Me again, about the horrible documentation of tcltk
How on Earth can I know what are the arguments of any of the functions of
the tcl/tk package? I tried hard to find, using all search engines
available, looking deep into keywords of R, python's tkinter and tcl/tk, but
nowhere I found anything remotely similar to a help.
For example, what are the possible arguments to tkgetOpenFile?
I know that this works:
library(tcltk)

Solution - ISDN-PRI hangup cause
Well, it works for me .. YMMV.
Yesterday I had a problem where I had a meridian talking to * via a PRI
card, and from * to the pstn via an isdn30 link. The problem was that if the
number was bad, or engaged then the meridian line simply dropped, not giving
the operator any indication of what occurred.
With much help from this list, I managed to construct a dialplan which
solved our issues.

USB ISDN30
I'm just curious to know if anyone is using a usb 2.0 / ISDN30
(specifically EuroISDN) device. We are looking to purchase another pci
card, but was wondering if anyone has any horror / success stories to
share regarding a usb device.
TIA
