Setting Caller-ID / Point Codes
Greetings folks, I'm currently dealing with a company to let me set Caller-ID-Name on outbound calls. So far pretty happy with their services. The basic service works like this: * CLEC sets Point Code to point to this company * CLEC has to sign LOA saying they give me permission to set the Caller-ID-Name through this company. * I go into web interface and set name. However, the CLEC is

beginner data.frame question
I need some help understanding how on of the example data sets is formatted in the basic R installation. If I load the Mona Loa CO2 data, with the command: > data(co2) I can view the data with: > co2 And the data are in the form of 11 rows labeled as years (1994-2004) and 12 columns labeled (Jan - Dec). This structure appears to be a dataframe, however, if I type the command

Dial Command M(x) Option
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-October/065540.html I saw this post about the M(x) option for the Dial command, but I could not find a reply questions posed here. I am wanting to pass the Zap channel that the original call came from to my macro embedded in the Dial command. I've tried to add arguments to the macro by using the syntax M(x,arg1), and I always get the

filtering of CO2 observation time series residuals using FFT
Hi, I have CO2 observations time series, I can calculate residuals by removing seasonal cycle and trend. But how to filter residuals using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) which transforms the data into the frequency domain. And then apply a low pass filter function to the frequency data, then transform the filtered data to the real domain using an inverse FFT. Can anyone working on carbon cycle

Wine and ALSA problems
I run wine 1.0.1-1 under Debian lenny, and sound works only through alsa-oss emulation and wine-oss. When i try to use native ALSA - in winecfg i get "audio test failed" message, and when i try to run any sound-using program (diablo 2, for example), i receive following message: err:dsalsa:DSDB_CreateMMAP Can't map sound device for direct access: file descriptor in bad state

there are fontencoding problem in Sweave
I want write article by russian language using Sweave. For cyrillic text LaTeX use T2A encoding \usepackage[T2A]{fontenc} But in Sweave.sty we find: \RequirePackage[T1]{fontenc} It is source of critical problem. For example Rnw file $ cat estimation.Rnw \documentclass[A4paper]{article} \usepackage[T2A]{fontenc} \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage[russian,english]{babel}

Factor analysis and cfa with asymptotically distributed data
I have friendship data which is strong skewed. So it doesn't make sense to use maximum likelihood methods for fa and cfa. But I couldn't find any function for asymptotically distributed data for doing a factor analysis. Only: apca() but there is no possibility to allow for factor correlations. The same problem is with sem() I couldn't get any solutions for my model because of the
