Dial Plan Sequencing
I have an interesting dilemma with sequencing in the dialplan. Up to
now, I have assumed that the extensions in the dial plan were tested in
the order that they appear in extensions.conf. In other words, I have
the following fragment which was designed to dial toll free on the PSTN
and all other long distance on VoIP:

customized centos 5.4 install, core install?
Hello,
This might be called a core build not completely positive. What i want
to do is make a completely customized centos 5.4 unattended CD or DVt
not only installs a specific list of apps apps that i want on each
system, but configures them automatically perhaps via scripts, and
enables or disables services etc. Basically, i want to drop the CD or
DVD in a box which will probably not have a

Attempting to use tproxy on Centos 8 fails with 'No such file or directory'
I was working on a haproxy transparent proxy setup that we had working
on Centos 7 (iptables), but running into issues getting tproxy working
with NFTables on Centos 8.

It should be a matter of:

# nft add chain filter divert "{ type filter hook prerouting priority -150; }"

IP SEC filtering issue
First thing to note is that I am using FreeBSD 4.8 .
We would like to send only the syn packet of a tcp connection through
certain ipsec tunnels and the rest of the packets in a connection though
a simple transport mode setup. Yeah, I know it's strange but what can I
say -- we do a lot of strange things. From the best I can tell, the
setkey/spadd filtering capability isn't sophisticated

Divert to arbitrary number.
Hi All,
I am looking for a way to allow users to
dial *21*, followed by a number and the pound
key. Asterisk must then divert all incoming calls
to the user's extension to the number given.
I got it right halfway using a tip from
http://ns1.jnetdns.de/jn/relaunch/asterisk/page6.html.
Thanks to whomever is the contributor of the above tip.
The problem is however, that the number to which

Question on setting up asterisk with hunting lines
*My apologies if this message is posted 3 times, I was trying to sent it to
the list once before I am a list-member, the second time before I was
approved.
Can anyone point me to some resources on using hunting lines with Asterisk?
Sales support of my telco have no idea what I am trying to do. They asked
what pbx system I am using, I was like Aster... never mind =)

Sipura 841 issues
Hi
Just 2 issues I have with SPA841.
1. I autodial extension 600 then inside an AGI wait for more digits.
The digits are transmitted correctly to * but they do not show up on the
SPA841 display, only the 600. How do I set the 841 is show the digits
after the 600#
2. Is the SPA841 pixel display backlit?

Polycom - Buddy Watch not a choice when adding Speed Dial
Hello,
On our Polycom phones we can not activate the Buddy Watch feature.
When you add or edit a contact, the list ends at "Auto Divert".....I know it
is the end of the list b/c the down arrow on the right side of the screen
disappears when I get to Auto Divert.
When I add <bw>1</bw> manually to the speed dial file it doesn't change
anything.
The buttons work well for

comment lines sometimes removed from a function on exit from internal R editor
Dear All -
The problem: comment lines in an R function (lines beginning with # ) are *sometimes* removed on leaving the R default editor (same with notepad).
I'm working on a Windows machine with R version 2.14.1.
An example is below. Couldn't find anything that seemed to relate to this in the Changelog. I don't recall encountering this behavior with previous versions of R. Any

Individual call-forwarding on ISDN
Hi,
I'm looking forward to install an asterisk-server to perform ISDN-to-SIP-
bridging. But for the times when I'm not available via SIP I also need call-
forwarding-features. Afaik it is possible to directly forward a call on ISDN
instead of opening a second ISDN-channel additional to the incoming-ISDN-
channel and forward the call "by hand", right?
What if I need features
