Sipura 2000 configuration.
Ok here is another problem I have run into.
I have a Sipura 2000 and I have been able to configure line 1 with only
one small problem. But I can't get the line 2 working with asterisk.
Here are samples of my sip.conf and extensions.conf. If I disable line
1 I can then get line 2 working. Is there a sample configuration for
the Sipura to get both ports working with Asterisk.

Grouping SIP channels (Sipura 3000)
Does any body know if it is possible to group SIP channels just like
it is possible with Zap channels? I have a group of FXO gateways
(Sipura 3000's) and I would like to treat them as a group the same as
I would Zap channels. Does anyone know if this is this possible?

Sipura 3000 Analog Line No Answer, No Audio
Problem 1 - Outgoing:
I am able to call out of the * box using the analog line attached to
the sipura 3000 but when the person being called answers there is no
audio from either end. * registers that the call was answered but
passes no audio.
Problem 2 - Incoming:
When calling into the 3000 attached to * it never seems to pickup the
line. The phones don't ring on the asterisk side.

Remotely rebooting Sipura SPA-3000 from command line
Hi all,
Anyone able to remotely reboot their password protected Sipura
SPA-3000 from command line. I am trying:
Sipura SPA-3000 from command line:
# wget http://admin:mypassword@192.168.1.55/admin/reboot
The strange thing is it works fine when I go to
http://admin:mypassword@192.168.1.55/admin/reboot with my web
browser...
Thanks....

AU caller ID with Sipura SPA-3000
Hi All,
I am using a Sipura SPA-3000 as an FXO gateway to bring calls in and
out of Asterisk. I am using "PSTN Ring Thru Line 1" (on the "PSTN
Line" tab) so Asterisk answers the call rather than the SPA-3000. It
is all working perfectly except I can't get the SPA-3000 to pass
caller ID to Asterisk. It passes "Display Name", "User ID" and any

FXS with v.90 modem support?
I have a couple of devices that need an analog modem to communicate
outside of our Asterisk system. Most FXS gateways don't seem to
support this... I have a stack of Sipura 2002's that are, AFAIK,
worthless for this purpose.
I've heard that Digium's IAXy FXS will work with modems, but I can't
find any reference to that in their documentation. There is also the

Sipura 3000 - fax passthrough?
I have installed two Sipura 3000's on my office pbx as a test, they work
well an have some great features including fax detect, but I was hoping to
allow incoming faxes on the FXO port to be detected and passed through to
the FXS port. Am I mistaken or does this work, and how?

Fax with Asterisk and Sipura 2100
I know the subject of faxing has been covered in some detail, but I was
wondering if anyone has a hardware configuration similar to ours that
has faxes working successfully and would be willing to share any
settings/insight.
We are unable to fax reliably with a Sipura 2100 connected to Asterisk.
We do not route calls over the Internet and our network has very low
latency. The Asterisk

OT: Opensource "Sipura Profile Compiler" for SPA2K, 3K
Hello list,
I have several SPA-2000's and 3000's scattered about the Internet (all
behind NATs). Because I do not qualify as an ITSP, Sipura will not
license their "Sipura Profile Compiler" so that I can have the units
remote upgrade, remote re-configure, etc (via TFTP or HTTP). This is
extremely annoying.
Right now if I have to make a config change to any of these

Sipura-3000 - silent dial out on FXO port
I am trying to configure the FXO port on a Sipura-3000 for use with Asterisk.
When I connect to the Sipura to dial out on the PSTN line connected to
the Sipura's FXO port, it gives me the dialtone of the PSTN line and
then I can hear the DTMF for the number I dialled beforehand.
It does work but the customer perceives this delayed second DTMF
feedback as "unprofessional" and the

Multiple Sipura 3000
If I have multiple Sipura 3000 device how can I dial out properly? I
can receive call without any problem and that's working really well.
Caller ID is shown and when someone call he get's the welcome message
the same way I have it configure with the X100P card. I don't seem to
have any echo problem with the Sipura 3000 (but I do with X100P cards)

SPA-3000 - the party's over :-(
The party's over folks, the new official cisco/linksys/sipura policy is to
no longer sell SPA-3000's to end users.
Buy them while you still can :-(

Sipura 3000 FXO
Does anyone have a Sipura 3k running, and using the FXO? I've got things
working right, but if I try to toss a *67 in the dialplan, it seems the
sipura is throwing a 403 forbidden back. For example:
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Dial,SIP/sipura1pstn1/${EXTEN:1} works fine
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Dial,SIP/sipura1pstn1/*67${EXTEN:1} does not
(even if I toss a couple Ws in)

connecting a sipura sip device to asterisk before dialing any digits
I would like the ability for a sipura sip device to
instantly connect to an asterisk server as soon as
the sipura sip device goes offhook and before
any digits are pressed. This way asterisk can
provide the dialtone and the dialplan.
This also allows me to play a greeting to the phone
before giving them a dialtone.
Is there any way to do this, like possibly having the sipura
device dial a

Sipura 3000 Question
Dear list,
I am playing with Sipura 3000 since last week.
Through the wiki pages I could get running it reasonably well.
My setup is that of a Sipura, linked with a local analog cordless phone,
a local PSTN line and the setup to link to an asterisk server located at
a remote static ip address.
I can dial the cordless phone from other extensions located at the
asterisk server; I can dial out

Service Unavailble, Sipura 3000, CheckGroup, what the heck??
Folks!
I discovered some serious problem with several Sipuras 3000 but I don't know if the problem is with them or Asterisk. Basically, if I call a Sipura PSTN line, when there is a call already in progress, generally I get a 503 Sevice Unavailable, but if I try hard enough, I am able to get through and connect to dialed number. The other call gets disconnected but the originator of the

*67 with Sipura 3000
How can I dial *67 on a Sipura 3000 if I dial from a SIP phone
connected on an asterisk server. I always get a message saying that
authentication failed for INVITE for sip221@192.168.1.6. If I dial a
number without doing *67 it's working fine...
sip 221 being the extension of my Cisco phone and 192.168.1.6 being
the IP of my asterisk server...

Sipura SPA-3000 setup in Brazil
All-
I'm attempting to set up a Sipura SPA-3000 in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Not being a
portuguese speaker, I'm having a rough time of finding the relevant
information on how to make the thing pick up the PSTN line and make an
outbound call.
The sipura in question works fine on a bench connected to a POTS line in the
US, but is now plugged in in Sao Paolo. The immediate thing I notice is that

Sipura 3000 DMTF
I have three Sipura 3000 FXO untis for incoming PSTN lines on a small
pbx. There is an IVR to select the extension. The DTMF tones are not
being sensed so the IVR does not work and incoming calls are not being
answered. I have listed my sip.conf entries.
Is there any solution to this?
