Accumulating CPU load from Xorg process with DRI3
? ????????? ?? Sunday 16 August 2020 07:20:18 Ilia Mirkin ???????(?):
> Well, if it's easy, try the patches I mailed to nouveau@ for the ddx.
I applied patches manually (copy-pasted patches failed to apply by git apply,
probably whitespace/end of line issues), and now I see in X log (after I left machine to run alone):

qemu -display sdl,gl=on also eats CPU
I was testing Ilia's patches for ddx, and while they definitely helped for Xorg itself,
qemu still eats a lot of CPU if launched like this
qemu-system-x86_64 -cdrom ~/Downloads/ISO/slax-English-US-7.0.8-x86_64.iso -m 1G -display sdl,gl=on -enable-kvm
and left for few hours.

ResponseTimeOut() and t extension
Hi List;
Can someone advise me why in the below context, it
does not run the Background step? Once I dial 1000,
then it hangup and give congestion signal? If I
comment the ResponseTimeOut, then it run the
Background but it does not wait till caller enter the
digits, once the sound file finish, then it hangup
(congestion signal), also in all the situation, it
does not go for the t extension, why?

Ext matching problems
Hello everyone...
I'm trying to get up a testing pbx installation. Following instructions
of what've read from the handbook and from asterisk's wiki, I wrote the
dial plan as follows:

static = yes

eigenvalores y eigenvectores
Buenos Días, en esta ocasión les escribo para tratar de solucionar una duda
que puede resultar muy sencilla, pero de la que no encuentro solucion.
necesito hallar la descomposición en valores singulares; tengo la siguiente

scatterplot3d: fractionary xrange
Dear all,
I'm plotting this and I need x range = (-2.5, 2.5).
require(scatterplot3d)
scatterplot3d(1,1,1, pch=19, xlim=c(-2.5, 2.5), zlim=c(0,2),
ylim=c(0,3), xaxs="i", yaxs="i")
In any case, it seems that in the drawing range for x is (-3,3).
I guessed I could have this kind of behaviour for ranges:
plot(1,1, pch=19, xlim=c(-2.5, 2.5), ylim=c(0,3),

help with structuring random factors using lmer()
Hi,
I am an R beginner and having problems structuring my REML models. I have
a model with
y=weight
x1=time
x2=timesquared
id=individual identity
I need to structure the model such that in the random effects there is a
constant intercept for all individuals but a separate individual slope for
both x1 and x2 (a coefficient score for every individual).

type III effect from glm()
Hi all,
This could be naivety/stupidity on my part rather than a problem with model output, but here goes....
I have fitted a fairly simple model
m1<-glm(count~siteall+yrs+yrs:district,family=quasipoisson,weights=weight,data=m[x[[i]],])
I want to know if yrs (a continuous variable) has a significant unique effect in the model, so I fit a simplified model with the main effect ommitted...

Accumulating CPU load from Xorg process with DRI3
I observed this bug for quite some time, but so far I workarounded it
with just setting DRI2 (default) in xorg.conf.d/20-nouveau.conf
Now with two GPU i iwsh to use DRI3, so right now it set up like this:
cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nouveau.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "nouveau"
Option "PageFlip" "1"

ResponseTimeout, Straight to operator?
Hi,
My client wants incoming callers who do not press a digit to go straight
to the operator. Does anyone have an idea of how this could be done?
I've looked for some examples, but I'm still not clear on it.
Here's the relevant portion of my extensions.conf:

how to do a graph with tree different colors??
hi
i try to do a graph of a time series which shows in red the values > -0.05,

help: trouble using lines()
Hi R experts,
I have been using ReML as follows...
model<-lmer(late.growth~mtf+year+treat+hatch.day+hatch.day:year+hatch.day:treat+
mtf:treat+ treat:year+ year:treat:mtf+(1|fybrood), data = A)
then I wanted to plot the results of the three way interaction using
lines() as follows...
tmp<-as.vector(fixef(model))
graph1<-plot(mtf,fitted(f2), xlab=list("Brood Size"),

general question about plotting multiple regression results
Hi all,
I have been bumbling around with r for years now and still havent come up
with a solution for plotting reliable graphs of relationships from a
linear regression.
Here is an example illustrating my problem
1.I do a linear regression as follows
summary(lm(n.day13~n.day1+ffemale.yell+fmale.yell+fmale.chroma,data=surv))
which gives some nice sig. results

multiple cluster doesn't work
We're trying to setup 3 PRDM partitions (VMware) across 2 nodes. As long as
only one is configured in cluster.conf, there's not problem. As soon as we
try to use 2 or more we get issues.
It looks the same as bug 636:
http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=636
I posted my cluster.conf and command line results there. I'm including them
here in the hopes that someone on this

data editor in R- could it be improved?
Hi all,
I've used R for basic programming and data management for a few years now. One of the things that I think could be improved is the data editor.
Its a great feature and I use it alot by calling edit(data.frame); very useful to see if what you tried to do actually worked.
However, one of the annoying things about it is that when you scroll down the window it doesnt show you all the

coercing created variables into a new data frame using na.omit()
Hi,
I am an R newbie and one thing I am having trouble with binding variables that
I have created within one data frame into a new data frame when using
na.omit(). To illustrate this problem I will give the example I am working on
and the approah I have been using:-
data.frame1<-filepath....
attach(data.frame1)
#create a new variable using a function
new.variable<-rep(1,length(weight3))

data manipulation involving aggregate
hi all,
I often have a data frame like this example
data.frame(sq=c(1,1,1,2,2,3,3,3,3),area=c(1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3),habitat=c("garden","garden","pond","field","garden","river","garden","field","field"))
for each "sq" I have multiple "habitat"s each with an associated "area".
