[8.0.0 Release] rc1 has been tagged
Alex, ping? There was a thread about moving Risc-V out of experimental but I think it didn't go anywhere? Separately, do the listed patches sound okay for merging? RFC/bikeshedding: Separation of instruction and pattern definitions in LLVM backends
I agree with David's sentiment. The second method appears to be easier to follow. IMHO, this would be easier for external users that desire to modify the backend for their own custom extensions/instructions. RFC/bikeshedding: Separation of instruction and pattern definitions in LLVM backends
As many of you know, I have a growing series of patches for a RISC-V backend under/awaiting review <https://reviews.llvm.org/differential/?authors=asb&order=updated>, <http://github.com/lowrisc/riscv-llvm>. I'll be posting a larger status update on that work either later today or tomorrow, this RFC focuses on an issue that came up during review which I think may benefit from

Detecting DTMF Tones from Muted app_meetme Participants
Hi, folks. I have a problem using Asterisk 1.2. I create conferences using app_meetme and Zap channels, and for every participant I run the script defined by AGI_BACKGROUND_SCRIPT to be able to listen and react to DTMF tones. As the docs tell me, when using the AGI background script one loses the ability to control the meetme conference via the command line so for muting conference participants I

rlm results on trellis plot
How do I add to a trellis plot the best fit line from a robust fit? I can use panel.lm to add a least squares fit, but there is no panel.rlm function. -- Alan S Barnett <asb at mail.nih.gov> NIMH/CBDB

[RFC] migrating past C++11

RISC-V LLVM sync-up call 19 Mar 2020
Oh, I wasn’t really thinking about devices without an MMU where the addresses are physically separated. Makes sense. This reminds me of rwpi on ARM; it has a sort of similar scheme of referring to data indirectly through a pointer, but it also changes the ABI to keep the pointer in a reserved register. -Eli From: Evandro Menezes <evandro.menezes at sifive.com> Sent: Friday, March 20, 2020

Fitted values and residuals from glmmPQL (MASS package)
Dear All, I would like to analyse the residuals from a generalized linear mixed model (GLMM) that I estimated, with random effects, by means of the command glmmPQL, from the MASS package. It is not very clear to me what the actual residuals to analyse are (Y - Yhat): I obtain two columns of residuals, of which the first are population residuals, and the second refer to the grouping used in the
