Proxy ARP with a Coyote Point equalizer
Here is a puzzle.
I have a network with several servers. It''s a mess. It''s a /24 and
pieces and servers are all over the place inside this /24 block, on both
sides of the firewall. For example, the router at 1.2.3.1 is outside
the firewall and many of the servers at 1.2.3.nnn/24 are behind the
firewall. (Obviously, 1.2.3.nnn is a fudged network.)

xyplot tick marks and line thickness
Hello,
A made a xyplot using the lattice library in R (latest version).
The publisher of our paper has requested:
1. all tick marks should point inwards instead of outwards.
2. All lines should be thicker (lines, axes, boxes, etc. Everything). Lines is easy...I used: lwd=1.5 but what about the lines of the axes, and the lines that build up the plot itself?....?

Rsync --Copy-links problem
Hi,
I am new to Rsync, but i have successfully used it to sync the contents
between two machines. Now the requirement is to sync the contents which are
symlinks. I need to sync the actual contents on client machine from these
symlinks.
I went through rsync tutorial and found --copy-links options to do my
job i.e, to transform symlink into referent file/dir
Issue:

lattice contourplot background covers inward-facing ticks
I wish to have inward-pointing ticks on my contourplot graph, but the
colored background produced by the "region=TRUE" statement covers the

cisco dial-peer voip
I have 2610 XM with 1 Fastethernet and VIC2-2BRI. Dialin and dialout over
pots is ok. Also inbound pots calls get redirected to Asterisk y.y.y.y
So far so good.
But I want to setup VOIP sessions with local carrier. I added dial-peer
40 for this. Session target x.x.x.x But calls will always get routed to
the pstn peers 50 and 60. Peer x.x.x.x is never contacted or tried.

Answer App hanging in I4L
Hi,
Anyone using ISDN4Linux (Eicon Diva Hisax ) card.
If yes, please help me out.
After configuring extension.conf and modem.conf
I could make outward calls correctly from gnophone and kphone. Still
the inward
call to the configured MSN is correctly reaching Asterisk and also to the
configured Context. But the issue is, it was hanging on 'Answer'
application and

RE: Asterisk at home with Broadvoice?
Outward dialing is a no brainer. VoipJet is the best outbound call
provider I have come across. Period.
It always works for me and the call quality is always very very good.
So far that seems to be the norm for them.
I am still working on getting my inward DIDs solidified so no opinion
there...

Asterisk Guru help needed for DISA troubles
I have a setup which allows users to access my asterisk box via FWD.
That is, a user in say, France can call into a local access number for
FWD, then hit number 7 which dumps them into a DISA request for a
password, which then dumps them into my internal extension so they can
dial out through a VOIP provider. Everything works fine until they
enter their tones for the number they are calling

Changing caller ID on a Zap channel
I have asterisk with two zap channels which are analog ports off a T1. They
each have a inward DID number If they are used for outgoing they show the T1
main number not the DID's number. Is there any way to send caller ID of the

factanal results interpretation - am I right here?
Hi,
I have obtained some results with factanal that seem to support a hypothesis I already had, and I'd like to verify that I can indeed conclude this from this new analysis.
We had subjects reproduce perceived trajectories with a device that allowed us to measure spatial position (the path) and the device's orientation at any of those positions. From this, we calculated the rotation of

Colored Dendrogram
Hi all,
I am a real novice to R. :)
I am struggling with a problem for generating colored dendrogram. I have
searched the R list and complied/collected a R code which can generated a
colored dendrogram based on the rainbow color and 4x4 similarity matrix (say
matrix:m).
In this dendrogram, each leaf is colored differently. But, I do not want the
leaf colored on a random basis. I want to assign

Unless you're doing something unsual, why not just run a second DC with
it's own DNS server and let Samba handle it? You
