Hitachi Cable WIP-5000 Wifi phone?
I see that ABPTech are now offering this SIP Wifi phone. Does anyone have an experience with it? I've considered the Pulver/Zyxel wifi phone but would really rather have something that can handle WEP or WPA. I run an 802.11g wlan with 256 bit WPA encryption. This Hitachi phone looks very much like a cell phone, which could be ideal. Michael -- Michael Graves

Hi, We have a sendmail/dovecot/squirrelmail installation that was working ok except for deleted files showing in the list with a [d] beside it. In trying to fix that issue, I apparently made a new error appear in the left navigation area: ERROR: Could not complete request. CallerID name lookup AGI script
Hi all, My VoIP provider (race.com) doesn't send name info with CallerID, so I wrote an AGI script that does the following: 1) If it's a toll free number (800|888|877|866), set the CallerID name to "TollFree Caller" 2) Use curl to look up the number in Google phonebook 3) If a business listing, set the CallerID name to business name, as is. 4) If it's a residential

Hi all, I would like to combine elements of a vector: vec <- c("astring", "b", "cstring", "d", "e") > vec [1] "astring" "b" "cstring" "d" "e" such that for every element that contains "string" at the end, it is combined with the next element, so that I get this:

WIP-5000 SIP Settings
Hi All, I'm the happy new owner of a Hitachi WIP-5000 Wifi SIP handset. While getting it working with * was not a problem it does occasionally get too lagged for the default SIP settings. If I'm on a call then it goes silent for an instant until it returns to <1000 ms lag. It's funny that SIP SHOW PEERS reports the phone at 780 ms lag most of the time. Even so calls don't sound

trouble loading R function code
I created an R function offline with a text editor and saved it as fhv.R When I type in load(file="fhv.R") I get the message Error: bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted)-- no data loaded I've checked the file, and it opens up fine in Notepad and other text editors. I also tried this from another folder and got the same message. What's going on? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am trying to edit a data frame such that the string in the first line is appended onto the beginning of each element in the subsequent rows. For those of you coming from out of the area and who may not be familiar with the bay area. TRAVEL: The closest airport is San Jose International Airport (SJC; 10 miles away). There is also San Francisco Internation Airport (SFO; 43 miles away) or Oakland (OAK; 49 miles away). IMHO, I would choose SJC, then SFO, and lastly OAK, depending upont he prices. how to have 'match' ignore no-matches
Hi all, I think this is a very basic question, but I'm new to this so please bear with me. I'm using match to translate elements of a data frame using a lookup table. If the content of a particular cell is not found in the lookup table, the function returns NA. I'm wondering how I can just ignore those cells, and return the original contents if no match is found in the lookup table.
