we are searching for a hardware based DSP solution for use
with Asterisk based on PCI or MiniPCI to reduce main processor
load and to use embedded boards with Digium E1/T1 cards like
TE410P.
does anyone know about any manufactorer of those cards or someone
who is able to develop/build such cards?

Sadly the reporter did not follow up on the report. I'd like to get at
least one positive report before I commit this. Anybody has this device
and wants it to work with DAHDI? Please update the bug report.

Lost my madwifi setup
I rebuilt my notebook that has the atheros card in it, and forgot to
save all of my setup to get it working.
I am using dkms and the madwifi rpms from rpmforge.
My modprobe.conf has a line:
alias wifi0 ath_pci
I can ifconfig wifi0 up
But the command:
/usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant wpa_supplicant -dd -D madwifi -i wifi0 -c
/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
fails.
Now some of my old

Troubles with NetworkManager
NetworkManager used to work fine for me but during the last few
installations its a big hurdle in the wireless connectivity.
I'm using Madwifi and its interface is correctly listed and working but I
cannot connect to any wifi AP without NetworkManager. I've two interfaces:
eth0 and wifi0. Starting NetworkManager doesn't show any notification icon
in the top right in gnome and I believe

Problem with the tc statistcis
I had a linux wireless router. I would like to monitor the queue lengh
of the wireless interface. By default, the wifi0 interface is with
pfifo_fast qdisc which does not report backlog packet. I replaced
pfifo_fast with pfifo:
''tc qdisc replace dev wifi0 root pfifo''
Then I use iperf to send UDP pkts faster than the interface can handle
but when I read the qdisc, the result is

prio qdisc broken?
Hello all,
I might make a fool out of me, but I think the prio qdisc doesn''t work as
advertised in any document I could lay my hands on.
The following tests and observations were made with Linux kernel 2.6.20.21.
This makes it up-to-date in the 2.6.20.x kernel family.
My problem was that the link quality reported by the olsr.org olsrd degraded

Problem with wireless router
Hello,
I am using wireless N on a DLink-655 wireless router. It is the "A"
hardware version with the latest firmware.
I am using a channel that no one in my vicinity is using, according to
iwlist.
I checked the Statistics from the router web interface and they are
shown below for a period of less than an hour.
It looks like the errors are excessive, especially the "RX Packets

ipw3945 wireless not working
This is a new Centos 5.1 install on a HP nc2400 (that use to run XP).
Completely clean install; blew away the XP partitions...
After applying all the updates, and configuring for the rpmforge repo, I
used yumex to install dkms and the dkms-ipw3945, ipw3945-firmware, and
ipw3945d rpms.
lsmod|grep ipw shows:

Recommended journal size for /boot
I want to convert the last of my filesystems to ext3. The only one
left is /boot. It is not very big however, only about 10MB itself.
Any recommendations on what size journal to put a /boot filesystem of
only 10-20MB?
Oh, BTW: "tunefs -j -J size=..." is awesome. No more gyrations with dd,
chattr, lilo -R, etc. Nice! One note however: even in Stephen's

[LLVMdev] Building libLLVMSupport library - special tricks?
Duncan,
Yes, I'd been pretty much performing the same diagnosis in parallel - it seems we just don't have that libLLVMSupport library built.
Last night, tried the build of clang a few different ways to get that library built - including specifying the --gcc-toolchain option. No Joy!
Which of the clang/llvm source trees provides it? or is it in another source package? tools? Is there a
