RXFax and Hangup context Question.
Hello:
I have been using the asterisk system now for almost 5 months. I'm very
happy with it's performance, however I have been using the RXFAX on and
off for the last month or so. I gave up after a while and just had it
route to my analog fax machine in the fax context.
However, I have always had the implementation that it would go to a
macro.. macro-faxreceive, and to the rxfax of the

Well, my faxes passes through asterisk successfully, however I still have
some problems about fax reception by rxfax.
The softfax answers, and negotiates transmission, however then as some stage
of communiation something is wrong.
But I have nothing more but this log:

Asterisk as a skinny/sccp "client"?
I wonder if Asterisk's skinny/sccp channel driver could be used as a
"client" to register with a Cisco PBX. That is, along with a SIP
client, say, have Asterisk and said SIP client stand in for a Cisco
phone, or an IP Communicator.
Anyone done this?
Cheers,
b.

spandsp 0.0.3 RxFax fax reception crashes bristuffed asterisk 1.2.13
Hi
Last month, people reported a crash with Asterisk 1.2.13 and
spandsp-0.0.3 when receiving a fax using fax detection.
Today I've tried 1.2.14 with the latest spandsp 0.0.3pre27 and with
the snapshots for app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c.
The problem still happens.
Has anyone found how to resolve this issue?
I tried emailing Steve Underwood (with crash backtrace) but he hasn't

Samba with split personality
Hi list,
my samba server is connected to 2 networks. In one network this machine is
just a simple workstation (the lan of our building), but in the other network
(my private network) i would like it to be the PDC, have different shares,
and have a different name, etc.
My current setup (excerpt) is this:
NET1 = 192.168.1 #External NET
IP1 = 192.168.1.34 #External IP

RxFax problems
Hey All,
I'm still (since April) having problems getting RxFax to work over an
ISDN4Linux channel. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting it
to work?
I have done a CVS update today (about half hour ago) and made sure I have
the latest version of spandsp according to Steve's website
(spandsp-0.0.1k). When I was compiling asterisk, I got the following
warnings:

spandsp rxfax under Linux 2.6 w/TDM400?
Hi,
I have got my Asterisk server running with TDM400 card (2xFXO & 2xFXS).
I originally had the system configured with a Panasonic fax machine on
one of the extensions. Due to the high volume of fax spam, I figured it
would be a much better idea to capture the faxes as TIF or PDF files to
minimize wasted paper, etc. I have downloaded, compiled and installed
spandsp and can see the rxfax

RxFax & Asterisk possible bug?
Hi,
For some time now, I've been fighting with RxFax and Asterisk.
I had it working for some time, however, for some reason it just stopped
working, I guess someone updated Asterisk or something, don't know exactly.
At the moment I keep getting errors while entering the RxFax stage of a
call.
But due to the fact RxFax does not contain any code to directly interact
with an RTP stream,
