Re: Ring/Off-hook in strange state 6 on channel...
Hello Eric, call progress detection is the problem. Asterisk mistakenly recognizes the call to be answered and then still "hears" the ringing that should not be there if the line was really up. To solve the problem you would have to either implement a progress detection matching your country's indication tones or at least adjust the existing one for US or Costa Rica in dsp.c. By

G.729A + Cisco AS5300
Hello, I have 5 digium's g.729 codecs and succesfully register with asterisk, I have incomming call from my cisco AS5300 to Asterisk through IP. But Asterisk always use g711 ulaw instead of g.729. When I disable all other codecs other than g.729 in both cisco and asterisk, calls get dropped once connected. The codec list show on my cisco AS5300 for g.729 are: g729r8 g729br8 I suspect that

[PATCH nbdkit nbd] nbd: Unsuccessful attempt to fix memory leak.
Hi Eric, There's a memory leak in the nbd client. The message (below) is not very useful because somehow debuginfo is missing in the plugin. However it's easily reproducible by doing: make check-valgrind TESTS=test-nbd I tried the attached patch to fix what I thought was the bug, but sadly the fix doesn't work for me :-( So I guess something else is going on, but it does look as

The delimiter is configured in postfix but apparently not in your dovecot lda config I am not sure of the location of 15-lda.conf, however in my main dovecot.conf file I added "recipient_delimiter = +" The output of the lad part of "dovecot -n" is now > protocol lda { >

How the LLVM handle the debug location information of continue keyword and right brace(loop end location)?
Let me show you the following simple C code: int main() { int i; for (i = 0; i < 256; i++) { i++; } } In this simple C code, if we use Clang to compile it and debug it: We will get something like this: (gdb) b main Breakpoint 1 at 0x100000f7b: file a.c, line 5. (gdb) r Starting program: a.out [New Thread 0x1403 of process 23435] warning: unhandled dyld version (15) Thread 2

R without graphics
Is it possible to configure and build an R without any graphics support. I..e no grDevices or graphics packages? I tried "--with-x=no --with-cairo=no --with-grDevices=no --with-graphics=no" but it is still building grDevices. My problem is that I am using experimenting with a compiler that cannot compile the Objective-C file, qdCocoa.m, and I don't need graphics for this

sapply to bind columns, with repeat?
Hi R-help, I am working with US COOP network station data and the files are concatenated in single rows for all years, but I need to pull these apart into rows for each day. To do this, I need to extract part of each row such as station id, year, mo, and repeat this against other variables in the row (days). My problem is that there are repeated values for each day, and the files are fixed width

Gutsy Xen 3.1 2.6.22-9-xen network-bridge problem
Hi, I have a strange problem with my networking setup. I read all forums around the world where people had similar problems, but couldn''t find a solution. I have an Attansic L1 gigeth chip on my mainboard. This chip works OK in stock Ubuntu Gutsy (development) 2.6.22-9-generic kernel. When I boot into Xen, and after the bridge is created, the network stops working. Some info: - If I

IE Sortable Style Problem
Hi Guys, I am having a problem in IE (tested versions 6 and 7 beta) with sortable divs in a container div with overflow set to scroll. It looks like all of the divs have their position set to relative after the sortable initializes, and also after being dragged. When a div (any element?) has a relative position in a containing div with overflow set to scroll, all of the divs with relative

RE: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 8, Issue 152
I understand Asterisk is more like a B2BUA. But when this INFO request is sent to asterisk, asterisk is supposed to bridge the request to the other endpoint, right? In what situation, it decides to send a reply; in what situation, it decides to bridge the request? What is the role of gateway in SIP world, a proxy, a B2BUA or something else? Thank you, Wei Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 12:51:28 -0600

libogg2 issue in revision 10730
hi all I found that in the revision 10730 of the libogg2 library it is impossible to do bitpacking. this is due to the implementation of the (at least) two functions oggpack_writeinit() and oggpack_readinit(). they both take an (oggpack_buffer *) as an argument and immediately erase all it's contents: void oggpack_readinit(oggpack_buffer *b,ogg_reference *r){ memset(b,0,sizeof(*b));
