Anyone out there using NetLogic DIDs? And have inbound working? I got outbound working, but no joy so far with inbound. Here are the relevant parts from my conf files: iax.conf [general] tos=lowdelay jitterbuffer=no register => username:secret@zoot.netlogic.net [netlogic] type=friend host=dynamic context=sourcekit-main auth=plaintext username= secret= disallow=all allow=ulaw allow=all

Asterisk Help
Asterisk Users, I am running Asterisk 1.2.13 on Debian Etch with McLeodUSA's T1 service. I have two Netgear switches on my T1 router, one for VOIP and another for data. I use a gigabit switch for all VOIP and a regular 10/100Mbps switch for all data. This morning I saw this message a few times on the Asterisk command line. The lagged cause garbled phone calls. Is my network to

SIP Challenge response bug?
Ok, here's an odd one. I would have opened a bug on this but last time I tried that I got flamed.. :) Problem: When proxy requests digest challenge (SIP) Asterisk responds normally with the exception that for some reason it changes the FROM: (Also changes Contact: )to what's in the original TO: line. Why on earth is it doing this?! It must be a bug, I've gone over my extensions.conf

Win 7 profiles
I?ve got a laptop running Win 7 Pro registered with my Samba/OpenLDAP PDC and it seems to not be handling roaming profiles properly when I reboot and log in. More often than not, it would take a long time logging in because it would recreate entirely new profile trees (eg. jtseng.ATHOME, jtseng.ATHOME.001, jtseng.ATHOME.002, jtseng.ATHOME.003 and so on). Could someone clue me in as to why this

Updating keywords on copy/move
Hello, I'm working on my virtual keywords plugin [1] to add an apparently simple feature: add a keyword to a message when it is moved or copied into a virtual folder (let's forget about what keyword to add, I'm starting with a hard-coded one to understand Dovecot plugin development). So I've added a mail_copy hook by the notify plugin [2] and did a simple call to

tinc vs. ipchains masquerading
Howdy, I tried tackling this on irc with Ivo, but I suspect that irc may really not be the best medium for technical discussions, so I'll reprise it here. I am trying to duplicate the "tinc from behind a masquerading firewall" example from the tinc web site: (home) <--> (masquerading firewall) <--> (office) 192.168.1.21 192.168.1.1/1.2.3.4

Shutting down WinXP Pro instance
Recently I set up a PDC (Fedora 12 - I'm using this for a specific reason) using Samba 3.4.9 and OpenLDAP 2.4.19; I named my domain ATHOME. I am trying to figure out how to shut down WinXP Pro remotely and I'm not having any luck. Up to this point I have tried the following: - I used ATHOME\root which is the admin acct I used to join XP to my domain. I added ATHOME\root to my

Good practices to make a Kerberos "mount.cifs" launched by root but with the credentials of another user
Hi, I have a Debian Stretch computer which is a "samba4 member server" of an Samba4 AD domain (versions etc. are mentioned at the end of the message). I think my config is OK and I can open a _graphical_ session with an AD account user. The display manager of the computer is Lightdm. For for instance, I can open a graphical session with the AD account bob (uid == 14001). In this case, I

core dump
Here is a nasty one: (0.65.1 on linux) > plot(c(1,2,3,4),c(2,4,6,8),log="Y") Segmentation fault (core dumped) [ml at athome ml]$ Seems the bug is in errorcall(). yes, I know the syntax is wrong, but it is an easy mistake to make and it is inconvenient to lose the work space at times. Can asterisk accept cleartext auth (uri user:pass) via SIP
Does anyone know if Asterisk can accept cleartext auth (SIP), as in it recv's a call destined to: 1234:blah@har.har.com The problem I'm having is simply for faxing, normal calls come in as g729 and of course we need ULAW for faxes. sip.conf snippet [sipfarm] insecure=very host=blahblah.netlogic.net type=peer context=sip-out username=+18165551212 secret=blah canreinvite=no disallow=all

Samba server doesn't announce itself.
Hi I'm running two Samba Servers on the same network. One if the servers announces itself correctly, and I can see it as a member of the "AtHome" workgroup from a Windows Box. I set up a second server on the same network, but that box does not appear to announce itself. If I added the second server to the PC's hosts file, I can access it by entering \\ServerName in explorer.

GLMMGibbs crashes on seeds data
Hi all I know GLMMGibbs is still in beta but has anyone experienced (and solved ;-) this problem? I decided to look at the seeds example but I get a core dump on two intel linux boxes and also a sun workstation. All are running R1.3.0 but different hardware/OS's so I think I've done something wrong > library(GLMMGibbs) > data(seeds) > seeds$plate <- as.factor(1:21) >

[PLUGIN] Virtual keywords (aka Gmail-like labels)
Hello list, I'm new here and since I've been working on a plugin lately I though I'd post it here. It's GPL licensed, hosted on GitHub: https://github.com/daniele-athome/dovecot-virtual-keywords-plugin I've been trying to find a replacement for Gmail and I already have my own mailserver. What I'm missing very much is labels. Since folders don't really match labels, I

[PLUGIN] Virtual keywords (aka Gmail-like labels)
As a matter of fact I use the virtual plugin to achieve what I want. I create dovecot-virtual configuration files. But if I understand you correctly, your approach is a system-wide configuration. Labels are per-user and dynamic by definition. On Mon, Oct 2, 2017 at 8:24 AM, Aki Tuomi <aki.tuomi at dovecot.fi> wrote: > > > On 01.10.2017 19:13, Daniele Ricci wrote: >> Hello

Cannot install 'libdcrypt_openssl.la' to a directory not ending in /usr/lib/dovecot
Hi, I asked how to build x64 rpm, so discussion about EOL operating systems is totally off topic. :( ? FYI, I'm still managing 4 production RedHat 6.2 (Zoot relased year 2000) based MTA servers and they are using latest self compiled and updated kernel, latest dovecot, postfix, openssl, openssh, bind etc, so they are in top shape and working well. So official EOL is just for dummies. :)

Non-executable share
Hey, Does anyone out there know an easy way to make a Samba share not allow programs to run from it? Is there a way, besides simply hiding .exe files? I know this can be enabled on NTFS partitions under NT (bleech), but it would be nice to stop people from running programs out of publicly writable directories. I'm aware of why the linux ext2 execute permissions don't handle this btw...

sem: incorrect parameter estimates
Hello. I am getting results from sem that are not correct (that's assuming that the results from my AMOS 4.0 software are correct). sem does not vary some of the parameters substantially from their starting values, and the final estimates of those parameters as well as the model chisquare value are incorrect. I've attached some code that replicates the problem. The parameters in
