AAH lost my IVR phrases
Hello-
I have a low traffic AAH setup, a few hardphones, a few softphones, 50 calls per day max. I used the AMP Digital Receptionist to
make a simple voice menu: "Thank you for calling xxxx". I did this for both Normal times and After Hours times. It worked fine.
I then went to the AMP Maintenance window, Config Edit, got the "phpconfig for Asterisk PBX" page, and selected

Asterisk@Home, AMP, and Broadvoice
Egad, not again with Broadvoice! Anyhow, I recently installed AAH and
configured my TDM11B and got that and some SIP phones working. I still
have some issues to work out, etc, but my current problem is Broadvoice.
I have checked out all of the online resources, including the recent
list exchange about the recent changes made by Broadvoice. However, the
one thing I have found to be consitent in

aah 2.7 / BRI
First encounter with *
Just downloaded & installed aah-2.7
Started up AMP, but i can not find any reference towards isdn.
I presume there has to be some configuration done for my Eicon-Diva-pro.
Does aah actually support isdn-bri?
On the mail-archive i found some references, but these are rather old
( they speak about the coming release of aah-2.1)

Operating AAH v1.1
Hi,
Just set up AAH 1.1 using an HFC BRI line and 5 IP phones as per
http://voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=ACT+P104+IP+Phone
The dialplan was configured through AMP and has nothing fancy in it.
As a first time user of not only Asterisk, but also a PBX, there are
some operator teething problems.
After much googling & searching of voip-info.org, I cannot find any
answers to these

*@Home .6 adding a outside number to a group{Scanned}
Actually, I love my install of AAH 0.6.
When something is not available in AMP I just dive into the configs and
correct it.
Most of the little things ARE available in AMP though so those times are
few...

Asterisk@Home 1.1b1 has been released
We have replaced the simple contact management system
in Asterisk@Home with SugarCRM a full CRM system. This
might seem like over kill for a home PBX but Sugar has
the best contact management we have seen. With click
to dial functionality and the ability to import data
from other contact managers it’s a great fit for
Asterisk@Home.
We have also added new version of the usual Asterisk
software AMP

Dial 9 to PBX to PSTN pattern question
My question: How do I configure AAH via AMP to make a connection through our
legacy PBX to the PSTN?
Details:
We're trying out Asterisk through Asterisk @ Home.
Our legacy PBX has a modem type dial tone port that we hooked a Digium FXO
to.
Now I can dial from the XTEN client on my computer to any legacy PBX
extension.
If I connect a regular phone to the modem dial tone port, I can dial

converting multiple columns from POSIX* to Date
converting a POSIX class variable to a date class is easy.
dates<-as.Date(x) #where X is of class POSIX
How does one do that to all columns in a data frame that are of POSIX
class and leave all the other columns (integers, factors) as is.
Feel free to reply with just one or two buzzwords that I could then
search for to find how to do it.

Asterisk@home default password doesn't
I follow the advice of Alasdair, it was happening because of the multiple
kernel panics. I have installed it again, and now it's working properly!
Thanks a lot for your help. I'll change also all default passwords for
security reasons.

FreePBX & AAH
Does anyone know if FreePBX can be installed on a Linux box that was built
using Asterisk@Home. I would prefer to manage Asterisk with FreePBX over
the AAH build. I have just not had good luck building an Asterisk system
from scratch and the Centos based Amp ISO and prebuilt config files are a
wonderful place to start. Nothing against Asterisk or Linux. My build from
scratch issues are only

Two ethernet adapters and more
I am running Asterisk at home on one of my systems here. It uses Centos
4.2. It does NOT have a GUI interface. Command line only at console
or via SSH (yeah, I know that I was working on another server to get
GUI tools working through SSH, but I am NOT going to muck with AAH build).
yum update is potentially dangerous, when it replaces the
kernel. You can loose all of your Zaptel driver

Plan to free myself from AAH
Hi,
I'm actually using a slightly old version of AAH with Asterisk 1.2.1,
because at first install it was perfect for my moderate knowledge of
Asterisk. It is working well but I gradually introduced many changes to
dialplan during normal use and now I'm feeling like in a straitjacket!
Moreover I'd like to have the chance to upgrade Asterisk regularly.
I have not the experience to

I'm new to this and have tried to find the answer in the discussions and
docs but to no avail. I even read the posting saying the password issue
has already been discussed. So, at he risk of being exiled, here goes.

from windows by typing http://192.168.1.11 I can log in with wwwadmin

FreePBX in production?
Has anyone attempted to use FreePBX for a business in production mode?
Initial take is there are lots of things scripted but a lot of
limitations in terms of supporting basic business functions. Inability
(or lack of flexibility) is handling multiple incoming pstn lines,
dialplan limitations, poor/no documentation, etc, to mention a few.
Maybe its just me, but it appears its no where near
