Custom Menu Not Working
Greetings *`s,
I am having what appears to be a small problem, but the frustration is
erally getting to me, what am I doing wrong here ?
I used AMP to set up a custom menu, so if caller presses 1 it goes to
ext200, if caller presses 2 it goes to ext201 etc etc...
Now I have created a third option that when the caller presses 3 it must
play a sound and hang up.
No rocket science yet.

Call file misbehaviour
Greetings *`s,
I am manually creating call files and dropping them into
/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing to be picked up by *.
Presently, when I use local/internal parameters using SIP it works..ie I
make an internal call from device to device.
However, when I try dial an outside number which I have set up in a
custom conf file, it bombs out with the following message :

I didn't want to bother the list with this, but...
I simply cannot get X-Lite (Windows) or SJ (Linux) softphones (the only
ones I have tried) to register with Asterisk on the LAN (no NAT, no
routers). I have looked at every conceivable archived message regarding
401 Unauthorized, SJPhone, etc., and have looked at every relevant
article in the Wiki (and then some), and it looks to me like everything
should be fine....yet I cannot get these phones

Continuing after a TIMEOUT(absolute)
Greetings,
I'm trying to continue to do some processing after a TIMEOUT
(absolute). In my dialplan below, when a call comes in to [default],
I call macro-phonenum and pass it a timeout of 20 seconds. macro-
phonenum sets TIMEOUT(absolute), then loops saying the phone number
that was called (in MACRO_EXTEN). When the timeout expires I want to

IAX2 how to disable VAD ?
Hi All ;)
I use VoipBuster with a IAX2 trunk between them and my 1.09 Asterisk.
I use the G729 codec over my poor 64ko isdn line but when i putt a
call on hold, le personn i call does't hear the music on hold (or
just for some seconds)
It seems that the VAD is enable on the IAX link. How can i disable it ?
Is there something to add into my iax.conf file ?
Thanks for the reply ;)

[PATCH] rhv-upload: Fix waiting for transfer
We were not considering failures while initializing the transfer. In
this case the transfer phase can change to PAUSED_SYSTEM or
FINISHED_FAILURE, and transfer_url will be None, which failed the
upload with a misleading error:
RuntimeError: direct upload to host not supported, requires
ovirt-engine >= 4.2 and only works when virt-v2v is run within the
oVirt/RHV environment, eg. on

ssh shell spawn
Hello,
I'm trying to add a feature to the ssh daemon.
It consists in log all the buffer session between client and server
side into a log file.
I've coded a shell that works with pipes, it opens 2 fds for each std
(you can see code at the end) and so the communication can be
transferred to the client end point, the server side and to the log
file.
My goal is to patch it into ssh, but for

Problem parsing unusual SIP/SDP
Hi,
I'm testing Asterisk with a new provider. On calls to US
toll-free numbers, there is no audio (calls to normal numbers
are ok).
In response to a valid INVITE from Asterisk, something like
this is received:
