ANNOUNCEMENT: Updates for app_cbmysql and MeetMe2 gui (out of tree modules)
Last update before I head to Korea for an IP phone deployment New diffs and PHP web interfaces at www.fitawi.com/Asterisk -New in the interface: New fields for conference conference owner and title Delete conferences Changed date/time to listbox to reduce user input error -This will likely have to become a java or other client-side code, since I don't see a way to tie the number of

ANNOUNCEMENT: Updates for app_cbmysql and MeetMe2gui (out of tree modules)
Lots of interest here for conferencing. I've probably convinced more people to start using asterisk@home for this feature than anything else. Can I input some suggestions; Need to change the rinky dink call icons (let me know if you need some better samples) Need to change the ability for a muted caller to flag they have a question and a desire to talk (I do a lot of mute all except 1 or 2

MeetMe2 admin functions
I have Meetme2 (as well as the web ui) installed and am having some difficulty with the admin features. I've set up two extensions pointing to the same conference, one with the admin flag (1234|Maps) and another with (1234|Mmps). My issues: If the admin presses the * key, it goes to an endless loop of "enter the conf no. followed by pound key" If the user presses the * key, the

special conference room
Hi list, I am in need of a "special" asterisk conference room with the following constraints: - there is one admin / moderator and several "normal" callers. - the callers must not hear any other caller, only the moderator - the moderator must be able to mute and unmute any caller at any time - the moderator must be able to talk to all callers or to a specific caller. - the

ANNOUNCEMENT:Updatesforapp_cbmysqlandMeetMe2gui(out of tree modules)
I'm afraid I am at a loss. If the three files, app_cbmysql.c, app_meetme2.c and Makefile all exist in ../apps then a patch -p1 from the ../asterisk directory should work. The -p1 tells patch to ignore the first directory in the path to the file in the patch, -p2 ignores two directories. Another option is to just edit the apps-meetme-cbmysql.txt and split it into three patchs and apply

Feedback on CBMySql, MeetMe2 and web interface
I've had 50+ people download the web components, and other than reports of compile issues, I have not heard if this collection has worked for anyone. I do plan to keep updating the * applications and the web pages, but I have almost meet all of our internal requirements and wonder if anyone else is finding it usefull. My focus has been and will likely stay on the user interface, since I have

MeetMe flags in * 1.0.7
While researching Areski's new Web-MeetMe management gui, I found some odd (from what I expected) behaviour). Using the CLI to set un/mute status works but does not update the flags, or so it appears. Starting with a fresh conference (1 user) *CLI> meetme list 3456 User #: 1 Channel: OH323/R61 Using the CLI to mute the caller (no change in the user status0 *CLI> meetme mute 3456 1

MeetMe questions
I'm looking into deploying * for an internal conference call server (using MeetMe) and had a couple of quick questions for those of you who have used it. I checked the Wiki but there weren't a lot of details for MeetMe. - Can you limit the size of a conference "room", ie max 8 people, etc. - Is there a list somewhere (besides the source ;) that has all the commands availible to

Multiple lines
Hi, Question... Is there a way to receive two phone calls on the same phone, or, for example to receive a phone call, put the call in stand-by and then make another call and finally, why not put them all together in conference... How to get meetme participants in dialplan?
The meetmeadmin() dialplan function lets you specify a user to mute, un-mute or kick. But how do you get a list of users in your dialplan? When a user joins a conference, the user number assigned is "the last user number +1." If you have a long running conference with callers joining and leaving all the time, this can grow to be a large number. I want to be able to

ANNOUNCEMENT: Updates for app_cbmysqlandMeetMe2gui (out of tree modules)
Nah conferences start when they start and finish when they finish. Theres no need for timers etc. The other thing that you need to implement is recording of the conference calls. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Dan Austin Sent: Friday, March 04, 2005 10:35 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List

MeetMe Admin Functions
Is there any way that I can have an admin user hit * and then Mute all other users in a meetme conference? Sort of a moderator function? I know it can be done with MeetMeAdmin, but as I see it that requires a separate extension to dial, unless I've got the logic wrong? If it can be done in a single extension please show examples. Thanks. ________________________________ This e-mail,
