Need help with H.323
hi all I'm trying to setup a dlink dph-100h phone (actually a dph-100m but with the h.323 software) with asterisk and chan_h323. AFACS, the dph-100h software can only be configured to point to a gatekeeper. I know I don't need to do this, but it's a test before I setup my Symbol Netvision phones (I don't have an access point for them now). First, this is what I have, and what

H.323, MultiVOIP, and DTMF
I've been working with the old-style (pre-SIP) MultiTech MultiVOIPs, trying to make them work against chan_h323. With the voips in rfc2833 mode, Asterisk can detect DTMF fine from them, but when it sends DTMF to them, they lock up on the second digit, crying about an incoming fax. Has anyone encountered that problem (and found a solution)? Taking the other route, switching DTMF to inband on

Use dialing plan from h.323 gatekeeper?
Hi, I want to configure * to use a gatekeeper for routing calls to H.323 endpoints. I imagine it will work like that: * (chan_h323) will query the gatekeeper where to terminate the dialed number and the gatekeeper will return the information for the h.323 gateway. after that chan_h323 will try to make the call to the gateway it has received from the gatekeeper. so instead of duplicating a

patch to build h323 without recompiling pwlib, ...
Heya, I changed the Makefile of the h323-channel-makefile (I downloaded cvs of a couple of hours ago) so that I don't have to rebuild pwlib and openh323, but can use the precompiled versions. I'm using pwlib 1.8.3 and openh323 1.15.2. There aren't many changes. I replaced OPENH323DIR with OPENH323INC ,which points to /usr/include/openh323 for me and OPENH323LIB, which points to

The call was established just at Oct 18 22:33:03 (New H.323 Connection created.) and also packet sniffer grabs the h323 invites at this time also. So my question is what

iconnect inbound - FIXED (kinda)
This appears to have been the magic bullet for me. Thank you very much. So, the bottom line is that there is a bug that ends up making inbound calls use type=peer rather than type=user. chan_h323.c compile error
Hello all, I got the following error compiling h323 support in the latest cvs. Below the error is a diff to the file that I got to make it work. I took an example out of sip as far as the syntax for ast_rtp_new. Not sure if it is correct or not, but it seems to work. Please correct me if I am wrong in the additional 2 arguements.
