asterisk and telewell isdn hfc problem
Hi,
I have debian etch 4.0 machine (2.6.18) with two TW-ISDN PCI (Hfc) cards. I
use bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-e (asterisk-1.2.17,libpri-1.2.4,zaptel-1.2.16). I
also have patched zaphfc with zaphfc_0.4.0-test1_florz-13.diff.gz (I load
module: insmod /usr/src/bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-e/zaphfc/zaphfc.ko modes=1
debug=1). So i want to test two cards and make loop between them. So one
card would be NT,

Call gets disconnected upon connect
Hi Everybody,
I am trying to use SIP (Sipura 2000) to connect to Asterisk which then
dials out a local number using the Digium E100P. We have purchased the
G729 codec licenses from Digium and loaded them into Asterisk
successfully. However, the call drops immediately after being answered
with the debug error message saying something like: "channel.c:2646

Hang up as soon as other party picks up call
Hello,
I have an Asterisk box with a TE410P connected to a PRI line and agents with
X-Lite installed on the same LAN as the Asterisk server. Sometimes, when I
make outbound calls it hangs up as soon as other party tries to picks up the
call. Does someone ever experienced this situation? On X-Lite, only
G711-ulaw is enabled and here is what i put in sip.conf:

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card oni4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hi,
Bristuff works great with HFC card... your compilation problem may come
from your kernel configuration...
You should check this doc, at least, for the redhat config :
http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm
Then, installation of Bristuff works like as charm !

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello
I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have
choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2
port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000
I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also
read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound
problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Latest DAHDI/libpri/Asterisk 1.8 & 1x BRI port HFC based ISDN card?
Hi,
I would appreciate some advice on the following: how does one use a
single BRI port HFC chipset based ISDN cards with the latest DAHDI,
libpri and Asterisk 1.8?
For Asterisk 1.4 I would first install mISDN & mISDNuser and then build
Asterisk 1.4. Now I noticed that Digium's HFC chipset based B410P is
supported by the latest DAHDI & libpri but reading the source of the

HFC-S ISDN cards in Xen3.0.3 DomU''s
Hi!
I just wanted to ask if anyone managed to get "ordinary" HFC-S ISDN
cards with the zaphfc driver running in a Xen3 DomU.
I am referring to this post (
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2007-04/msg00202.html ),
which perfectly describes my problem and I am therefore going to
simply copy-and-paste it here:

Compilation on Debian with support for HFC-chip based ISDN-cards
This is my first posting to the list. Thus hopefully the question has
not been asked several times before...
I'm trying to install asterisk on a PC using Debian Sarge but without
any real success...
Problem: I may get the Asterisk packet (Debian version) installed using
'apt-get install asterisk', but that does not include the bristuff from

HFC-S ISDN card on *@home
It seems so simple, but I'm having no luck installing a HFC-s ISDN BRI card
on *@home 0.5.
I probably have to install BRI-stuff from Junghanns.net but that also
downloads and installs another copy of * from Digium.
I'm not sure if zaphfc has to be installed *before* Asterisk or if it's OK
to do this afterwards.
I've seen this question before, but: Anyone successfully installed a

Problem with ISDN HFC-S card
Hi,
I have built another Asterisk box using one ISDN HFC-S card and
Bristuff-0.2.0-RC8p. But this time it behaves very strangely. Asterisk
simply hangs and in logs I receive something like this:

span 1
--NOTICE [1197]: PRI got event: HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel of span

And when I want to call a ZAP channel I get

ISDN, AVM C4, HFC-cards and echo
Hello,
I've been using * for quite a while using AVM C4 card and a few
Grandstream Budgetone 102 hard phones plus couple of HandyTone 286.
Echo is a big problem. I am getting used to it, but some users complain.
Anyone has experience w/ regards to echo comparing the AVM C4 with two
HFC-cards? Before shelling out time and money, maybe someone else
already has done so, and could tell me if

ISDN supplemetary services (Hold, Retrieve, 3PTY) on HFC-8S
Hi,
I use a Cologne Chip HFC-8S card with chan_capi. (TE mode only)
So I've set up mISDN with CAPI and it's working just fine for 'normal' calls. But I do need more. Namely Hold, Retrieve and 3PTY which are not supported yet in the mISDN implementation of CAPI, whereas it is in the AVM Fritz Card CAPI driver for instance.
So my question is: Is anyone aware of an alternative
