Streaming Council Debate on Software Patents via Cell Phone?
I'm looking for a solution to provide a live stream of the debate on
Sofware Patents in Monday's EU Council of Ministers [1]. Here's what I've in
mind:
* Council --> mobile phone --> software answering machine --> Internet
server
* Council --> mobile phone --> VOIP --> Internet server
Has anyone ever streamed something via a cell phone? How would you

Undefined method stub
When I try to execute the following example, I get an error message:

What could be the reason? I tried with the latest Mocha Ruby gem, and I
also tried it with the Rails plugin.
The example:

Finding a mean value of a variable holding a dummy variable fixed

the value of the last expression
Is there an analogue of common lisp "*" variable which contains the
value of the last expression?
E.g., in lisp:
> (+ 1 2)
3
> *

I wish I could recover the value of the last expression without
re-evaluating it.
thanks

merge(join) problem
I have two datasets:
A with columns Open and Name (and many others, irrelevant to the merge)
B with columns Time and Name (and many others, irrelevant to the merge)
I want the dataset AB with all these columns
Open from A - a difftime (time of day)
Time from B - a difftime (time of day)
Name (same in A & B) - a factor, does NOT index rows, i.e., there are
_many_ rows in both A & B with

apply --> data.frame
Is there a way for an apply-type function to return a data frame?
the closest thing I think of is
foo <- as.data.frame(sapply(...))
names(foo) <- c(....)
is there a more "elegant" way?
Thanks!

suppose I have two factor vectors:

recover lost global function
Since R has the same namespace for functions and variables,
> c <- 1
kills the global function, which can be restored by
> c <- get("c",mode="function")
Is there a way to prevent R from overriding globals
or at least warning when I do that
or at least warning when I replace a functional value with non-functional?
thanks.

[LLVMdev] klee linker problem
Hi,
The klee library directory is determined at compile time and cannot be
changed afterwards. Have a look at tools/klee/main.cpp to see how it is
computed.
I usually use Klee without any install step, right from the build
directory. This has never given me the error you see.
Hope this helps,
Jonas

Trouble supressing ASAN reported leaks
Hi,
I'm currently trying to find and fix memory leaks (compiling with
``-fsanitize=address``) in the KLEE tool [1] an having found some
leaks and I'm having trouble suppressing them.
I'm trying to suppress them using the
``-fsanitize-blacklist=blacklist.txt`` option as documented at
[2]. I'm using Clang 3.7 ( Arch Linux package 3.7.0-6).
The sort of reported leaks I see are

[LLVMdev] uCLibc support for klee
Hello,
In my reading over the last couple of days, I have read that in order
for klee to work with "native" Linux programs, I need to install the
uClibc posix support for klee.
I am not finding the uClibc source in the llvm svn repository anywhere.
Is this still necessary for testing native Linux applications, and if
so, where do I get the uClibc source to compile?
Thanks in
