Asterisk + BudgeTone (behind NAT)
I'm using Asterisk on a open server (no firewall or NAT) and trying to communicate with a Grandstream BudgeTone 102 SIP phone which is behind NAT. The BudgeTone is at firmware level 1.0.4.30 and Asterisk is from CVS about a week ago. My problem is that I'm only getting half-duplex communication -- I can hear voice from the Asterisk server but the server does not understand any voice from

Grandstream ATA Toasted
A BETA firmware upgrade toasted my ATA286. It now has limited operations. It will get an IP address via DHCP and register to the last configured SIP server, but the web interface is gone as is the voice config menu. Apart from registration, there doesn't appear to be any other SIP functionality. An Ethereal dump does not show the device trying to grab a new firmware via tftp on bootup, so

Grandstream Budgettone 100 & 102
Checking the earlier mails, it stated that the phones were $75 (100) & $85 (102) ref :- http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-June/013483.html Well, I just called Ovislink/dgtimes and was quoted $90 & $100 and the person said there was no price change. Anyone on this list actually bought them at the $75 & $85 rate ??? Regards...Martin -- Too much is just enough.

SIP / GrandStream Configuration
Hi there! I installed the BudgetTone (GrandStream) on my LAN without any problems. Then, I moved it to another location using a D-Link NAT. I opened 5060 (SIP) and 5000 to 5008 for RTP. I also fixed the IP address of the BudgetTone. When I receive a call on my Asterisk, it would ring my FXS as before. However, after I pick up, it hangs within a few seconds (Hungup Zap1-1 in the log). The

Asterisk/Grandstream Budgetone disconnect issue
I am setting up a small Asterisk system for use at home. I have one Budgetone 101, one Cisco 7960 and two Xten lite softphones. So far everything is working expect for an issue with the Budgetone. When a call is placed between the Budgetone and any other phone, the call is setup and sounds good. If I hang-up on the Budgetone, everything is ok. If I hang up on the other phone, the Budgetone

Strange Call waiting problems - SNOM 200 & Grandstream Budgetone
Hi I am setting up an Asterisk System in an office environment, Incoming and Outgoing calls are working ok, but i am having a few strange problems regarding call waiting. With the SNOM 200 (firmware 2.02t) phones, if you are on a call and a 2nd call comes in, the call waiting beep is played and the light flashes, but if you hang up the 1st call, instead of the phone ringing, it connects the

I have a client using a Grandstream Budgetone 102, but he is unable to register to my Asterisk server. feedback on grandstream budgetone
Hi everyone. I see many posts complaining about Grandstream equipment, so I thought I tell the other side of the story as well. We use Grandstream Budgetone 101 phones in our office and they work extremely well. We have no echo, no crashes, no sudden resets, they "just work". We provision them using TFTP. Our asterisk box has 2 HFCPCI ISDN BRI cards. It's running asterisk 1.2.0 on

To anyone with a grandstream budgetone...
I logged a bug I wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem or if it's just me. http://bugs.digium.com./bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0000486 I just downloaded the newest version from CVS(Tuesday@~7pm) and I am getting an error whenever I call the asterisk box. I cannot here any audio on the budgtone. This works fine with my pingtel phone and my sip 7960. Also if I call my Skinny 7960 it

Grandstream Budgetone 100 Caller ID shows extension, not incoming Caller ID
I've looked through the archives - and see questions similar to mine, but no answers. What, if anything, can be done to get the incoming Caller ID to be presented on the Budgetone's Caller ID display? In all other respects the phone+Asterisk seem to be extremely happy with each other.

GrandStream BudgeTone 101 Question
I know there are several folks hanging around the list that resell VoIP products, I'd be interested in getting your info off-list as I'm trying to persuade someone to get me a budgetone 101 for Christmas ;) I've checked the yahoo site, and they seem to only carry it in white.. Ideally, I'd like blue, so if you have it, please let me know. Also, I've been watching the list for

grandstream budgetone 101
Maybe I'm loosing my mind but I've just noticed that if I put a call on speakerphone and I press speakerphone again it hangs up the call, you would expect it to take the call off speaker back on to the hand piece. I'm using V 1.0.5.22 firmware. Is there any other way to turn off speakerphone I'm missing? Cheers, Dean -------------- next part -------------- An
