Parking
Good Day list, My head is pounding from google overload. Does anyone know if there is any way to park a call and specify the ("context", "Extension", and Priority) of where to call back to if the call times out and is parked too long? ParkAndAnnounce does this feature, however I do not like that it has to call you back to announce the location. I want my cake and eat it

/dev/zap not created
I installed asterisk on Fedora Core 2 kernel 2.6.5. I followed the standard procedure. zaptel-libpri-asterisk. The thing is that I constantly get the error message: line 4: Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl' where the file zaptel.conf contains only 4 files: fxoks=1 fxsks=4 defaultzone=us loadzone=us I cant run asterisk and get a load of error messages. VDI size on local repository always 0
Hello guys, I''m working on a cloud computing project involving Xen Hypervisor. I looked for the issue described in the subject in old posts but no success. I''m using the local storage repository and I can''t set physical_utilisation and virtual_utilisation via xen API because XendVDI.py has hardcoded the 0 value for local repository while is passed for QcoW storage

FATAL: Error running install command for wctdm
I got a new motherboard and upgraded Asterisk, ... However, I am not lucky enough to get it running again. To compile went ok, besides this remark at the end of asterisk: WARNING WARNING WARNING Your Asterisk modules directory, located at /usr/lib/asterisk/modules contains modules that were not installed by this version of Asterisk. X100P outbound only (Don't answer)
I tried implementing my * and it didn't pass the spouse factor at this time. I wanted to hook it up for outbound only at this point to get a better handle on the dial plans and the echo problem. I thought this might have been done before as a natural part of testing - but maybe not. In wcfxo.c I found this: if (!wc->offhook && !wc->ringdebounce) { if

Does anyone keep a known telemarketer caller id database? If not has anyone proposed an Asterisk community project to share this information? Sort of a nation wide blacklist so Asterisk'ers can cut down on the garbage calls... -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Sound quality issue in one direction and wctdm problem with APIC enabled kernel
I'm chasing down a pop/click type of disturbance on a PBX system. Strangely, the disturbance is only heard by the outside caller, the internal recipient hears the caller crystal clear. This seems to have crept up when upgrading the zaptel driver to the 1.2 series while running 1.0.10. I went ahead and upgraded the entire system to 1.2.4. The system is a ~2Ghz AMD 32bit system, with 512MB of

ztdummy on Gentoo 2.6.10 Box
Hi Everyone, I read through the list on the issues with the ztdummy driver which I need for MeetMe, but I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot seem to find an answer for. I am running Gentoo 2.6.10 on an Intel box. I have read the the wiki entries on the ztdummy and followed the instructions as they relate to the 2.6 kernel. Everything compiled great, but a modprobe ztdummy

Reducing code size of Position Independent Executables (PIE) by shrinking the size of dynamic relocations section

Snooker 147 JHC Software
Hi there I've been trying to get my dad off windoze as it's rubbish! People are very funny about Linux. If they can't run their little windows apps correctly they go back to the darkside. I've skinned Ubuntu to look exactly like XP ( sad I know ) but that works. The only problem is getting his snooker game to work properly. This is the program:

Reducing code size of Position Independent Executables (PIE) by shrinking the size of dynamic relocations section
A simple combination of delta-encoding and run_length-encoding is one of the first schemes we experimented with (32-bit entries with 24-bit 'delta' and an 8-bit 'count'). This gave really good results, but as Sri mentions, we observed several cases where the relative relocations were not on consecutive offsets. There were common cases where the relocations applied to alternate

bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n problems and kernel panic
Hi list! On a newly installed RHEL 4 box I'm trying to install bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n. Everything did compile but I am running into some problems with the zaphfc driver. First of all when I load zaphfc *before* zaptel (yes I know I shouldn't do that) I get a kernel panic and the box hangs. Not so nice, especially when you are trying to fix stuff from remote locations. But ok. Now for

Brazillian Caller ID: almost there...
Hello, Talking with Soren Sratje about Caller ID in Brazil, we compare ours DTMF tones captured by ztmonitor. wcfxo correctly recognize the "DTMF CLIP" and asterisk shot the AST_STATE_PRERING correctly. But the DTMF tones are not reconized. In the chan_zap.c, the code: if (f->frametype == AST_FRAME_DTMF) { (...) Does not occurs because the frametype is always reconized as voice
