analyzing binomial data with spatially correlated errors
Dear R users,
I want to explain binomial data by a serie of fixed effects. My problem is
that my binomial data are spatially correlated. Naively, I thought I could
found something similar to gls to analyze such data. After some reading, I
decided that lmer is probably to tool I need. The model I want to fit would
look like
lmer ( cbind(n.success,n.failure) ~ (x1 + x2 + ... + xn)^2 ,

glmmPQL
Dear all,
I am experiencing problems with glmmmPQL. I am trying to analyze
binomial data with some spatial autocorrelation. Here is my code and
some of the outputs

degrees of freedom in lme
Dear all,
I am starting to use the lme package (and plan to teach a course based on it
next semester...). To understand what lme is doing precisely, I used balanced
datasets described in Pinheiro and Bates and tried to compare the lme outputs
to that of aov. Here is what I obtained:
> data(Machines)
> summary(aov(score~Machine+Error(Worker/Machine),data=Machines))
Error: Worker

How to Simulate UPS on battery?
I've recently moved from installing NUT from source to installing NUT
from the FreeBSD package (FreeBSD 9.1).
One would think that I might have learned not to change anything, but I
made the change. And here is my tale of woe.....
My first question is: is it possible to simulate a "UPS is on battery"
state?
Some background:
UPS comm port is connected to and monitored by

How to keep track of who is doing what?
Hello everyone,
I'm a new Asterisk user and I wonder what people usually do to keep
track of who is doing what in the system. For instance, I would like to
keep track of who is calling certain contexts/extensions and when that
happens. I'm also interested in logging customized status messages to a
text file. Suggestions would be extremely welcome!!
Best,

-msave-args backend support for x86_64
ola,
ive been looking at adding support for an -msave-args option for
use on x86_64. the short explanation of it is that it makes x86_64
function prologues store their register arguments on the stack. the
purpose of this is to make the arguments trivially accessible for
things like stack traces with arguments.

[LLVMdev] Preprocessor: output only definedness testing macro's
Hi all,
I'm looking for some guidance on how to implement the following GCC behavior
using the Clang libaries. For a simple input file I want to get all the macro's
which are actually being tested against in that specific file. The following
reproduces the behavior:
$ cat > test.c << EOF
#ifdef AA
#define BLABLA
#else
#define WUTWUT
#endif
#ifdef WUTWUT
#endif

call forwarding, most basic case
hello all,
i need some help and after trying the wiki i'm even more confused than i was.
i'm trying to set up call forwarding and running into problems...
i want the most basic call forwarding imaginable.
1. caller dials extension (say, 154)
2. dialplan is updated to forward caller's extension (based on
CALLERIDNUM) to voicemail, instead of ringing his endpoint.
3. caller is

MS Access macro's running very slowly
Hi,
I?ve recently migrated to a Samba3 server and everything seems to be running
well apart from a problem with some users that run macros in MS Access.
I?m told that a process which used to take 15min on the old W2K server took
over an hour on the new samba box.
After having a scan through the archives I think the problem may be related
to oplocks/locking but I?m pretty sure I?ve got these

Filing to public folders
Hi all,
I'm currently playing with a setup which might replace my current cyrus imapd one
with dovecot. Currently I'm stuck with trying to file messages that got to the user
"lists" to the public namespace' System folder (public/System) with sieve.
Dovecot claims "Permission denied", and I tried several debugging techniques to
get the cause - without a result

Using Macro's that cause loops, on purpose and using h, exten in default twice
Please see my extensions below. I will try to type you through this. In default, an extension 5149053538 is matched on. This fires a macro that
determines what time is it, and resets a variable which is then used to call another macro to place a call. if the call is answered, and the far
end hangs up, the dial macro exits, then the routing macro exits, and you are back to default. at this point

Macro's and Var Scope's
Hi,
I am having difficulty getting my record phone call dial-plan script
working. I have tried the example record call scripts but they start
recording before they are actually connected to an end point, e.g. you
get ringing or announcements being recorded.
It seems to me that these are bugs with the Dial() command:
1) Using M(x) in a dial command does not allow argument to be passed.

How can I fix this.

extracting residual variance from glmmPQL
Dear all,
I am trying to simulate data sets from a model fitted with glmmPQL, in
order to compute the distribution of a summary statistics. My data are
binomial and I have a correlation term in my model. My model is
structured in the following way
m <- glmmPQL( fixed = cbind(sucess,failure) ~ x1 + x2 + ... ,
random = ~ 1 | bidon,

anyone care to input.

73 Turns DND off

at the forwarded extension.

Introducing the Asterisk Realtime Architecture - ARA
I've added an introduction article about the ARA on my web site
http://www.voip-forum.com/
The same text is now also added to CVS head as README.realtime.
On the same site, you will also find the news item about how we used
Asterisk for a call from an airline jet above Greenland to Stockholm,
Sweden. The world is getting smaller and more connected every day!

possible bug R CMD check: No space(s) allowed after \VignetteDepends{}
R CMD check gives an error when a vignette entry %\VignetteDepends{} has any
extra space at the end.
Maybe this is by design, but I found it confusing.
Changing the function "vignetteMetaRE" in tools package could solve the
problem. I.e.
vignetteMetaRE <- function(tag)
paste("[[:space:]]*%+[[:space:]]*\\\\Vignette", tag,"\\{([^}]*)\\}", sep
= "")
