USING TWO ACCOUNTS WITH BROADVOICE
Hi, I have two accounts with broadvoice. Now, I want to be able to distinguish between them. I though that this would be simple by adding "/EXTEN" at the end of the register statement. For example: register => num1:pass@sip.broadvoice.com/1000 Unfortunately, this is not working. When I call into my box I hear busy tone. My config looks like this: [root@voip asterisk]# cat sip.conf

A working BroadVoice config example
I finally got my incoming and outgoing to work on Broadvoice with a configuration file that is no where close to the one given by them. Here it Is (sip.conf). For others who have a working config could u please share so that I could compare. Broadvoice problem
Since Thursday evening my asterisk box has been failing to register with broadvoice. I haven't changed any of my config files in the last week. Can anyone suggest anything? problems of DNS

broadvoice connection problem
All, I signed up for a broadvoice BYOD plan over the weekend (very excited about their offering) and after about an hour I had asterisk registered and was making in and out bound calls. Sip 400 bad request - broadvoice error
I have searched the list and cannot find a sip 400 solution posted that solves my problem. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on the following I would greatly appreciate it. I didn't have this error before Broadvoice made their changes this weekend. Now when I make a call it connects but, I cannot hear anything on the other end... SIP Debug
Using AMP, the configuration I have used to work fine with Broadvoice. Now it gets a busy signal every time. I've checked "sip show registry" and it says it's registered just fine. I've tried "sip debug" and it shows calls coming in, but they always get a busy signal & I can't tell why. Here's a SIP Debug output: Sip read: INVITE

Broadvoice latest changes and still not working-An
I've tried everything with the * box after this weekend. I have read every document on the problems people are having with them after this weekend as well, but none of them address my problem. I checked my settings in my sips which I have below as well, I have changed the host file a few times, but this was new to me and I never had modified it before. I have and the same results

weird outbound problem through broadvoice (new)
Hello, Have a weird problem when using asterisk (1.0.6). There are certain numbers I cannot dial when using asterisk with my broadvoice account. No problems with inbound. With outbound calls, I can call some numbers (for example broadvoice customer support number) and unsuccessfully with some. Broadvoice latest changes and still not working- An Additional Server
I have been going crazy with this also since Sat. Our server was working perfectly with BV but will now not place calls to BV. Incoming from BV works fine. I felt sad rebooting it today, it had been running for almost 200 days! Here is my error message from the console... Stumped by BroadVoice SIP
Hello guys. I am a fairly new user to Asterisk, and I'm just having a tough time. My goal is to set up a VOIP PBX. I have signed up with a BroadVoice number, and I have three systems with SIP phones. ULaw not negotiating
Ok, My provider is sending a call to me via ULaw but Asterisk isn't picking up on this, I've only allowed ulaw, I disallow=all and then allow=ulaw in my sip.conf and that's the only thing I allow, but when my provider sends me the requests, I get an error about No Compatible Codecs: 17 headers, 8 lines Using latest request as basis request Sending to 67.19.245.213 : 5060

Workaround for BroadVoice and possibly others...
I have an idea, tell me if this wouldn't work... I know it's really ugly, but it might help some people until we can get round robin DNS checks for peers... Since * does not do GetHostByName() again until you reload your config, and BroadVoice and I'm sure other sip providers are using round robin DNS, why not create 2 [<your server here>-out] contexts in sip.conf, and then in
