PCI Master Abort
I am always getting multiple PCI Master Abort messages when I try to
plug in a second TDM400P.
I have asked this question before, but I nothing really solved my
problem and I just put it on the back burner for a while.
I am at a point where this is a crucial issue.
I have read that the Zaptel devices share an IRQ, is this causing the
problem?
Is there a way that I can manually change the IRQs of

SuperServer 6024H-82R and Centos 3.3
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have any familiarity with this
server? It uses the Super X6DH8-G2 motherboard. Currently, we've added an
Adaptec 2120S Ultra320 RAID PCI Controller Card to get RAID 5 capability. The
installation bombs and from what I can tell it looks like we're getting SCSI
resets or the controller is going offline maybe. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.

Supermicro X7SPE (Atom) as Asterisk server?
Has anyone used this board as an Asterisk server?
http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/ATOM/ICH9/X7SPE.cfm?typ=H&IPMI=Y
I'm mostly interested about the possible compatibility issues this board
may have with the AEX800 card.

System hangs up every day
Hello everybody
Unfortunately my problem still doesn't have any solution.
But I have an interesting observation. The gateway freezes very quickly, if torrent client programs are running on workstations.
I assume the cause of the problem consists in many number of TCP/IP connections that torrent client establishes.
Any ideas?
Maybe I can tune somehow a TCP/IP via kernel, sysctl or pf settings?

Use 8GB RAM on Pentium D?
Hello:
I have a Supermicro SuperServer 5015P-TR.
It has a Pentium D and is running CentOS x86_64.
Can this machine use 8GB RAM?
I think it should because it is running a 64 bit
OS, but I am concerned because it is fundamentally
32 bit hardware.
Anyone have any experience in this area?
Thanks,
Neil

Triple- or Quad-display single-card graphics solutions
So, after some discussion of our new control workstations, we are iterating in on a solution; we are looking at a 1U short-depth SuperMicro SuperServer 5017R-MF with a graphics card in the PCI-Ex16 expansion slot. However, the display requirements have increased to 3 or more monitors for future expansion, so I was wondering whether anyone had any experience with triple- or quad-display single card

STABLE regression with AIC-7902 controller.
I have a Supermicro SuperServer 6013P-8 system which features a X5DPR-8G2
motherboard with embedded Adaptec AIC-7902 dual-Ultra320 SCSI controller.
Said system boots and runs fine with 4.8-RELEASE (with a slight cosmetic
problem during boot that can be cured by building a kernel without eisa
support). With STABLE (as of 19 June) the system locks up hard (no
response to the keboard) during the

Re; Samba 2.2.2
Hello Guys,
First off let me say thanks for your efforts on Samba.
Next I have a problem, I dled the samba 2.2.2 tarball and installed it
and now I am at the configuration stage. It says I have to add two lines
netbios-ssn lines to the inetd.conf file. Well, unfortunately there is
no inetd.conf. However there is an xinetd.conf file is that the same
thing and if so, what and where do I

calling from SIP to a h.323 device with oh323
Hi, I've asterisk-oh323 0.7.3 and after 2 days of test finally I can
make calls from one h.323 device to the world using sip trunks :)
I can call to sip devices from the h.323 one. Now I want to make calls
from sip to h.323 but it does not work. Maybe one of us have a
configuration example to do this?
I'm using the latest svn version (compiled yesterday).

AHCI and correct drive geometry?
Hey folks,
So what's the word on AHCI and bios drive geometry? I'm having a real
pain of a time trying to get some 750gb sata drives running on my
FreeBSD7 box in AHCI mode. It doesn't seem to matter what disk geometry
I suggest to sysinstall, something complains of an invalid disk upon
booting it.
Actually, in AHCI mode the bios screen doesn't report any information on
