similar to: DTMF inband detection improvement

Hi all, I use a GSM device to send dtmf on my asterisk system (via SIP). the codec I use is ulaw (or a-law). dtmf mode is INBAND. relaxmode is on. but most of the case, I 'missed' some DTMF or I 'double' one. as anybody as seen this before? is there any way to prevent this thanks

Does anybody know why Asterisk does not support inband DTMF for G.729? Our SIP carrier use inband dtmf for G.729. This causes problem for us to use it for our Asterisk IVR system. Hi, I've kind of ported a DTMF text extry method I wrote some time ago for Dialogic. It is now a semi-working Asterisk app. I've still got to clean up some stuff in how Festival is used to read back what is entered, and then I think it should be OK. Would anyone here find this useful? It takes an entered string, and returns it as a variable. It might sound clunky, but for short entry

Hi, My Asterisk systems runs like a dream with mISDN, SIP and even and old Digium board. But have almost in every conversation some irritating DTMF being generated. The seems to be just as often from all trunks but are worse if noise load speaker in other end. Any good advices? Where to look for forgotten DTMF detection settings? Thank you! HB

I am using Asterisk 1.2 with a TE410P connected to E1 PRI trunks. The application relies on a DTMF digit string sent by the phone after the call has connected. I set up a monitoring system that calls my techs when a problem occurs on one of our networks, everything works fine unless asterisk calls a cell phone in which case the tech can not respond using dtmf.
