SIP VoIP Provider problems
Hi Hope someone can help :) I am testing 4 PSTN termination providers. 3 SIP and 1 IAX IAX and 1 of the SIP providers work fine. Now the wierdness: 2 SIP providers I can only get oubound calls to ring at the destination and then nothing more. 1 gets as far as SIP code 183 (and ringing on the src handset ...yay) the other doesn't get past 100. Added to this inbound calls

¿Y por qué no, simplemente, sapply(mi.data.table, function(x) sum(is.na(x)))? Un saludo, Carlos J. Re: Headset for Cisco 7960?

CentOS6: sound prefs, how to limit output volume to the un-amplified range?
Hello there, recently installed CentOS6 on a (quite old) 64-bit system, and from the GNOME's sound preference app, I can see that the Output volume range is said "amplified" from 63% to 100%. Below 63% it's unamplified. No idea what's implied behind this amplification (I don't see this on other desktops), but I notice that when "amplified" the sound is pretty

Uy pues con mi data.table no lo hace bien, me devuelve 0 para todas las columnas. Podría ser porque algunas columnas son char y otras num?? USB headset recommendations
I'd like to get some feedback from users of USB headsets as to what they like/dislike about the unit they own (manufacturer/model number). I'm looking to buy some. Is there already a thread somewhere or a review (I tried to find one with no luck), discussing this topic? Any advantages/disadvantages to using a USB headset over a regular headset slaved off the internal sound card?

In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook

OT: pinout for "standard" telephone headset required.?
Hi, I have a Cisco 7960G phone for which I know the pinout of the headset socket. I have a couple of standard telephone headsets which I do not know the pinout of. I'd like to connect the two. If I have the pinout of a normal/standard headset I can rewire the ones I have to match the cisco. Thanks Mike

OT: High Quality Wireless Headset for Cisco IPPhones and *
Tom - here are a few suggestions Plantronics 510SL Bluetooth - they make a bundle that comes with a Bluetooth transceiver and a handset lifter. This is nice if you have users that already have Bluetooth headsets for their mobile phones, as it allows you to sync with their office phone as well. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat29880043/cat2 9880054/prod5460016
