dialplan experts needed
In this dialplan, the SIP user agent is a Sipura two line adapter with line 1 as SIP ID "1000" and line 2 as SIP ID "2000". Basically I have this set up so that 1000 and 2000 are "lines in hunting" on incoming extension "555". I want an incoming call to try to ring ext. 1000, if 1000 is busy, then ring 2000, if 2000 is also busy than ring Voicemail. Here

Pressing 0 in Voicemail causes * to hangup
I tried it w/ mine as well and it hung up on me because I just have Voicemail running not Voicemail2. It seems as though you have Voicemail2 because it's trying to play the Unavialable message. Just a thought though. Does it do the samething w/ [qout-phillyq] exten => 0,1,Voicemail(u1) exten => 0,2,Goto(default,s,1) Tim Thompson http://www.amatechtel.com (806) 722-2227

Voicemail2 vs Voicemail
>> Wouldn't that break everybody's dialplans where they would have to >> replace all occurrences of Voicemail2 with Voicemail and all >> occurrences of Voicemailmain2 with Voicemailmain? > > No, we would register with both names. Is it necessary (with reasonably current cvs) to make any changes in the *.conf files to use Voicemail2, or is that happening

hello, I have a test setup with 2 asterisk servers, each having a one snom 100 via sip using it. I`m experimenting on how trunking between them would work. I have them setup for RSA authentication which I plan to use in the future. So I`ve setup the keys and servers seem authenticate to each other. One is named phila and other hurricane. Here is what I see on phila: -- Registered

Using Blacklist
I am attempting to write in incoming context for calls. 1. If the caller id is given and it is not black listed it will Playback a greeting and then right the phone or go to voicemail under busy or unavailable conditions 2. If no caller id is given, then Privacy Manager will ask for the number. I am testing 6145551212 to see if the black list will work 3. If a caller id is given, and it is

Voicemail2 - auto fill the dialing extension?
Hi, First off, a big thanks to Digium (Mark, John, and Martin) for helping sort out a BellSouth config issue on our PRI. T100P working like a champ! Now it's back to tweaking the configuration on our SIP phones (7960s). The message_uri parameter in the phone's configuration file is working great. Dials comedian mail directly. Is there a way to let voicemail2 know what the incoming

Problems with Wait & SIP 486 "DND"
Greetings, I have implemented the following command to allow CNAM to be delivered to my users. exten => 9969,1,Wait(1) This works great! However it has spawned a new problem. When this is implemented into a full dial plan. If a user is set to DND or sends a call to Voicemail by hitting deny the caller gets a busy. Below is a result of the calls. With the Wait(1) statement -- Executing

I have put together this call forwarding and dnd config: I'm sure it can be dome with macro's but I couldn't figure that out... anyone care to input. 74 Turns DND on my phone will not ring, drops caller to voicemail... 73 Turns DND off 72+ext forward your extension to another extension and voicemail is left at the forwarded extension. 71 turns off call forwarding. ; dnd Could

Incoming callers aren't hearing ring
We just switched from three x100p's to a te410p for handling our incoming/outbound calls. Everything works great, except incoming callers don't hear a ring while they are waiting for one of us to pick up. The phones themselves ring fine, but the caller doesn't hear anything until someone picks up, or it transfers to voicemail. Any clues as to what may be happening?

New message 0 in mailbox 7606
Hello, I recently started playing with voicemail2. I'm having two minor problems that I can't seem to find discussed in the archives. 1) New message 0 in mailbox 7606. New voice mail message count seems to start with 0 for the first new message instead of 1. Any tricks to fix this? 2) When listening to messages with VoicemailMain2, the time stamp is in GMT and not corrected for the

Hangups after voicemail
Hi, Try as I might, I can't get hangups detected on a Zap channel with loop start lines. So, after someone leaves a voicemail and then hangs up, Asterisk doesn't know it, exits VoicemailMain2, and loops back to the corporate greeting, tying up the line even though the outside caller has hung up. Therefore, I've added the following hideous hack - er, code - to voicemail2.c. It

PRI configuration problem
We've been working for the past 2 weeks to get a new V400P working with our PRIs from the telephone company. We're trying to get the Asterisk server setup as a VoIP gateway for SIP and AIX. We can make SIP-SIP calls, but all calls from or to the PRI fail. This is the applicable entries from the Asterisk log (configuration files follow) for a call coming from the PSTN on the PRI. I

Busy message with call waiting?
Is it possible to have both a busy and an away message when the call waiting feature is enabled? extensions.conf ... exten=>403,1,Dial,Zap/3|10 exten=>403,2,Voicemail2,u403 exten=>403,103,Voicemail2,b403 ... Because I have enabled call waiting, I can't see how it will be possible to get the busy message to play (because there will always be a dial tone). Am I right, or do I have

Voicemail answers, but drops SIP call after about 3 seconds.
I am calling from my laptop to an asterisk box which answers the call and I can hear the voicemail prompts, but the problem is that after so many seconds, MSN Messenger drops the call because it thinks it hasn't been answered by the remote machine. I'm not sure if this is an asterisk problem, or if it is Messenger not knowing the call was answered. Has anyone else run into this sort of
