Leave and re-enter a conference
All; What I want to do is create a way to easily send callers into a conference room to have an N-way conference call. I created an extension '100' that calls the MeetMe() command. Then all I need to do is transfer a caller using a blind transfer (*2 in my case) to extension 100. Then I can dial a feature code that sends me into that conference (*15 in my case). So far, a piece of

MeetMe Conferencing - Announce your own join/leave to yourself and other conference members
Hi all, I'm trying to get the MeetMe system to take a caller and announce to them they've joined the conference in addition to the other members of the conference assuming previous members of the conference >= 1. I can see where the meetme.c app actually processes it using the ast_pthread_create_background(&conf->announcethread, NULL, announce_thread, conf); function. The

SNOM Hint for MeetMe
Has anyone written a php/perl or a hack to the 'hint' function in Asterisk that will let you monitor a MeetMe conference? So if anyone was in a conference, I could have a button light up on my Snom 360?

meetme sounds
I am playing around with dynamic meetme conferences, and wanted to have one person constantly in the conference, with calls "popping in and out". Is there an option / any way of playing enter / leave sounds to the person who created the conference only, and not the people leaving / joining ? TIA Julian.

terrible MeetMe sound with 1.6.2.9
Hi, Using MeetMee(1234,M) on asterisk 1.6.2.9 (debian/testing) we have terrible sound: the MOH is unrecognizable and speakers can't be understood; it sounds "ghostly". However the prompts ("your are the only one in this conference, etc.") sound fine. Our server has a Digium T410P card with two E1 lines going in and the wct4xxp dahdi module. Any idea?

newbie question: Meetme
Yes, I am a newbie too. I am having a problem with meetme. From what I have seen it will work without a Digium card but with audio problems. My goal is just to see how it works not the quality of the audio. When I dial into the conference room the following message is played: "That is not a valid conference number." On the console I get: "unable to open pseudo channel". As

Problems with MeetMe accepting conference PIN
Hi, I know this question may have been asked before (although the archives don't seem to suggest it), but has anyone had any problems with Asterisk accepting a PIN number for a conference room. At this point in time I have established the conference definition in the meetme.conf file as well as specifying the appropriate lines in the extensions.conf file. meetme.conf file: conf =>

MeetMe Conferencing and Marked Mode
I am trying to set up a Conference room where users are put on hold until the host arrives. I have figured out that the A option activates marked mode and the w option is used to activate the waiting until the marked user arrives. This seems to be what I need. What I can't seem to find is how do I mark a user? Thanks _____________________ Kevin Savoy Business Unit Telecom Analyst 2218 4th

IAX / MeetMe problem
Greetings, I have a somewhat unique (I think) configuration that I am testing involving MeetMe conferencing and have encountered a problem that I'm not quite sure how to solve. Here is a brief description of my setup for the background. I wanted to offer the ability for users to mute and unmute themselves while in a conference. If they enter a conference as monitor only, they are

language and meetme issue
Hello, I have created a dynamic conference into two languages (english and russian). Client calls to confrence number and interactive choose the language. Meetme runs with 'dMi' options. Everything works perfect if one conference room clients have choosed the same language. If clients had choosed different language , there is a problem with user join/leave announcements. For example:

I hope this clear. This does not happen often, is random, anybody experience something similar? or any idea how to fix this problem?

meetme conference latency degrades...
We have recently started making more frequent use of the meetme conference of our * system. We are using v1.0.8 with a 2.6.11 kernel on our system. We generally have 4 callers in it: two with the gsm codec and 2 with g729. Initially, the conference works fine and there is little latency. After about 15min., though, the latency is very noticable and by 25min it's unbearable. If we all leave
