OT: Headset for Cisco 7960?
Sorry, I know it's OT, but does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive headset that is compatible with the Cisco 7960? I've tried the headset off Norstar phones, doesn't seem to work with or without the amp. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | nate carlson | natecars@natecarlson.com | http://www.natecarlson.com | | depriving some poor

Results of an incorrect crossover pinout??
Say I had a crossover cable that connected a Mitel SX200 to a TE110P and the pinout was done as such: 1 - 4 2 - 5 5 - 1 4 - 2 (the 5 and 4 are transposed on the left side) Instead of the proper way of: 1 - 4 2 - 5 4 - 1 5 - 2 What would the results be? We have had the former as our cabling for a few months and the connection has been fine. Slip errors here and there. But we have had major

Loop back cable pinout 15 Pin Serial
I am trying to test the T1 card in our legacy PBX but the connector to the card is a 15 pin serial cable. I would like to make it myself so I can try this test today. Does anyone have a pinout for it? I just made a T1 RJ-45 loop back to test my TE110P and it tested out fine. I'm trying to resolve some timing issues and a tech from Digium is going to ssh in and walk around my asterisk server

Thanks for the info. I have a way to view and change it too? (It would be only the level of knowledge). Powercom Black Night 600AP UPS Serial Cable Pinout
Hi there! I just recently got a nice new UPS to power most of my computer equipment, and having it working perfectly under NUT. However, I had a perfectly good Powercom Black Night 600AP UPS, which I'm now trying to get to power my internet gateway. Unfortuantly, due to not thinking on my part, I threw away the original serial cable. I have tried a straight - through cable, and the one

TDM400 w/ FXS S110M pinout on RJ11 connector?
Hi all, I just got my long awaited FXS modules for a TDM400 card, and was a bit puzzled about how my phones and the FXS interface worked together. Here goes: In Sweden (that's where I am located) phones traditionally are connected in daisy chain configuration. This means that a phone in on-hook condition passes the line through back onto the outer pair of the RJ11, back into the wall

HP/Compaq T700H UPS cable pinout
Hello all, I have obtained a Compaq T700 H UPS sans-cable. My research indicates it would've come with a HP #201092-001 cable, and from previous posts on this list, it speaks upscode2, possibly being a rebadged Eaton unit. Any suggestions for cable pinouts I can try? Regards, Mathew McBride

Te110P initial installation problems ?
Hi, thank you for last info. we've tried to use te110p but failed. We're quite surprised that cable wasn't included with the card as any documentation, at least on HW setup and installation, yet cable pinout for connection to PRI interfaces.... 1. SoftPhones: Bad, or just bad QoS?
Hi again, folks. I've been getting feedback from this list and elsewhere that softphones are generally not considered good enough for hardcore business use. Can someone point me to where I can find more detail on this debate? Is the problem that the technology isn't mature, that the load on the computer is too high, or simply that it doesn't work well in a poorly designed

Value &operator=(const Value &) = delete;
Does it mean we can not dereference the Value variables? Value *val = some operand of an instruction; Value *val2= some operand of another instruction; I am trying to rewire the operand values of an instruction using: *val = *val2; It seems that this is not allowed. AT&T T1 Cable Needed!
Hi, I just got a T1 interface for a AT&T (became Lucent) System75 (uses same cards as Definity). I would take a crack at making a cable but can't determine the pinout for a cable and it is not apparent from the board. Asking you guys makes sense as one of you may have one of these systems. The cable has a amphenol male D50 connector on one end and probably a rj45 on the other. I also
