Bridge configuration in Asterisk 13 [Spam score:8%]
Thanks Richard. This is exactly the answer I was looking for. I'm now assuming that Asterisk 11 was using it's equivalent "bridge_simple" but I was getting confused because the only bridge module I saw in modules.conf was bridge_softmix. When I upgraded to Asterisk13 that would have been the only bridge getting loaded at first. Is it expected that if bridge_softmix handled a

Asterisk Dialogic support
Hi Mark We setup a small IPPBX using Asterisk. So far we've been using it for voip network. It's been working fine. We also have a Dialogic D/4PCI four port FXO board with us. We've found some references in the user guide available on your web site and couple of other mailing transaction threads that Asterisk provides pay-for-add-on support for Dialogic h/w. Can you please tell us

R-beta: R-0.62.1 under Digital Unix
I am grateful for the advice of Douglas Bates on my earlier problem in making R-0.62.1, but I'm afraid I'm still having problems.... I have been installing the various updates to R for quite some time on my alpha, and it is only now that I have been having really severe problems. The three or 4 versions before 0.61.1 installed without error. For 0.61.1 I needed to install GNU make. For

I am trying to make the R-0.62.1 distribution on a DEC alpha running Digital Unix 3.2d. I have run into a few problems..... (1) the Makefile in src/graphics need to have INCLUDES= -I../include not -I ../include (2) I have the standard DEC fortran 90 compiler which needs to link R.binary with a -nofor_main flag. The appropriate slot in config.site appears to be ignored, which means Makeconf

Dialogic Hardware (Take 2)
Please rest assure that I have been following the * development for a while and understand the value the Digium hardware gives me vs any other vendor. Most of the people on this list probably know whats good for everyone else, but I like to find out for myself (I am not a CNN junky). Now the * site mentions Dialogic as supported hardware at: http://www.asterisk.org/index.php?menu=hardware It

How to Dialogic 240/JCT-T1 interface with Asterisk?
Hello all Asterisk Users, This is my first post here. We are in a process of moving Dialogic 240/JCT-T1 from old voicemail server to Asterisk box. Which card drivers do we need? Asterisk and Dialogic LSI161SCREV2 --- Don't kill me ; -)
Hello all, I found a LSI161SCREV2 Dialogic board in one of my drawers, and i was wondering if by any luck, i could make some magic happen with asterisk ... If asterisk does not support it, is there any PSTN to H323 or PSTN to SIP gateway that support this dialogic card and that can be connected to an Asterisk Box? Digium, I PROMISE that I will buy my cardf rom you once my tests are conclusive

Suggestions for what to do with a Dialogic D/41EPCI?
I found an old Dialogic card in an abandoned PC, that I think is a Dialogic D/41EPCI based on some googling.. The lspci output says: 00:09.0 Bridge: PLX Technology, Inc. PCI <-> IOBus Bridge (rev 01) Subsystem: Dialogic Corp: Unknown device 0529 I'm just getting started with Asterisk to build a SOHO system. Any suggestions for what I can do with this card? How much to use Dialogic?
Aloha, I have an application to build an eight conference bridge for a Norstar. I would have a converter to turn the digital ports into analog with disconnect supervision. On the digium site I only saw a single port FXO card. I would like to use a higher density FXO card like a D/41 or newer from Dialogic. I noticed in the handbook 2 (draft 3/30/03) that there is a price to use dialogic cards

Does Asterisk support legacy Dialogic products?
Hi all, I just checked out that Asterisk which is a platform I am interested of. I would like to install it to the Linux box for a trial. I have some legacy Dialogic hardware on hand, don't know they will work with Asterisk or not. For analog loop start interface I have Dialogic D/41 E which is of ISA bus with four Telco interfaces. Will it work on Asterisk? Best regards, Patrick.
