CAC Access Bank
I just picked up a couple CAC Access Bank 1s loaded with FXS that should be arriving shortly. Does anyone have one that they use with Asterisk? If so, would you be willing to shoot me a note with your current configs? I'm not very familiar with CAC/etc, and it would save me countless hours of muddling through .. :) Any others tips you can give me on these banks would be very

Newbie question reg. Asterisk and Channel Access Bank I and TE110p
Hi, I have some problem to get this setup working. I have a CAC Channel Banl I, with FXO and an Asterisk box ( I am using Asterisk@Home 1.2) and I have a TE110p installed in this box. What I want to do is, just to be able to dial one of those lines that already are connected to the channel bank, and transfer that call through TE110p and Asterisk to a user agent somewhere through Internet.

Channel Bank Echo
We are a voip terminating company, we're using Channelbank with FXS modules, Rhino, CAC, etc.. What we're wondering is, is how to would you echo cancel a channelbank. Of course we're realizing that cancel'ing on the T1 (on Ast) does no good (we think?) because the analog conversion is at the channelbank. Suggestions? Lowering the gain helps but we're looking for a real solution

IP FXS channel bank
Hi there, I'm trying to get hold of an evaluation IP-enabled FXS channel bank. I'm not sure if it's more a channel bank, or should be called a multiport-ATA. Oh well. On the surface it looks quite nice - 16 FXS ports, and since it's connected to the network I can do away with an E1/T1 connection required of the normal channel banks (if it can be called that :) Here are some

[Fwd: Re: Adit 600 channel bank in UK setting]
Jon, I actually had some more discussions with Tim on this issue, and it seems that the channel bank would still be a good option to choose for internal purposes. I would not see any other solution than a channel bank to connect many 2wire phones into one asterisk box. I had a talk today with Carrier Access, and it seems that the adit would do us fine. The fxs cards of the adit 600 are

CAC AB1 and Asterisk
Hi all, Don't know if anyone can help me. We just set up a CAC Access Bank 1 with Asterisk. Everything works great except, when we ring a Zap interface, the analog phone does not actually ring. The light blinks, and if you answer it you are connected to the person, but the actual phone does not ring. Using the "Test" option for the channel does make the phone

Firefox fails to authenticate .mil sites with New DoD CAC
Can anyone help with getting the new DoD CACs (Smart Card) to work in CentOS 6.6? I don't use it for console logins, only for email and .mil web sites. I recently had to get a new DoD CAC (Smart Card) when one of the buildings I work in upgraded their security system. My old CAC was working fine prior to this for signing and encrypting email and for authenticating to various DoD (.mil) sites

Carrier Access CMG/FXS MGCP to Asterisk, Works Fine
FYI, Follow the Quick Start Guide from Carrier Access to setup the CMG (Customer Media Gateway) Router card. Follow the Asterisk mgcp.conf wiki page setup. The only issue I had was with the CAC CMG card, it defaults to strict policy message exchange and dial-tone will not come across when you go off-hook on a FXS port. To resolve this, get back into the CAC CMG configuration, goto: -profile

Channel bank replacement
Hello, I am working for a charity in the UK and I am projecting a new phone system. We would like to connect our two-wire telephones (40 or so) to an ADIT 600 channel bank, and connect that into an Asterisk box via the CMG card or T1 card. I have been in talks with Carrier Access about the purchase of a new channel bank and we tried to get a minor version of it first for testing with the

Channel Bank Woes...
Hello all, I have a new Carrier Access Adit 600 and am having a problem dialing out and receiving incoming calls. After the initial ring, the calling party will here nothing. There is a silence, but the SIP phones that is supposed to ring will ring. The calling party will not hear the sound of the ring that * sends out on the line. Additionally, if someone picks up the receiver there is no

Calling Card App
Hey folks, I'm trying to get a working calling card application. I've downloaded the "astcc" app from the digium CVS. I don't seem to know what to do with the "astcc-config.conf" and "astcc-exten.conf" files. Does anyone have an experience with this application? -- Richard Cook richard@aspworld.com Tel: 705-497-9320

Firefox fails to authenticate .mil sites with New DoD CAC
I thought DoD used RHEL and not Centos, or did Centos did approved DADEMS recently? Channel Bank Frustrations
I'm trying to get a Carrier Access Corp. Channel Bank I working with a Digium T100P without success. What is stranger is that the status lights on the channel bank and T100P seem to change almost each time I power cycle the channel bank or reset the T100P. The channel bank has three status lights: T1, Framing, Status. T1 is green, Status is yellow, and Framing is usually red but sometime

\ Adtran Channel Bank? - Email found in subject
Jay, I have had a lot of trouble with the FXO ports on Adtran TA750. Unless the incoming POTS lines have a balance impedance, they will buzz very bad. Gregory P.
