SOS !!!
Can anyone help me to solve the next problem????
I need to get the caller's identity from the Sip messages.
I tried to use the command SIPGetHeader, but the downloaded version 1.0.3 doesn't work.
Does a new asterisk version exist which solves my problem?
I'm looking forward to having a prompt reply from you!

Need help to strip variable
Hi all,
I have a need to strip some characters from a variable to get the right data
but have only found how to strip all but the last or middle stuff, need to
keep the beginning.
EG:
With $(SIPURI) I want to keep just the sip number and delete the remainder
'@server.com'.
Ideally I'd like to use 'SayDigits($(sipuri[-@server.com])'
All replies greatfully accepted.

Calls running forever / CDRs inaccurate
Hi list!
Running Asterisk 20.0.0 on CentOS 7, logging CDRs using
cdr_adaptive_odbc to mariadb-server-5.5.68 (via
mariadb-connector-odbc-3.1.7-ga-rhel7)
Using chan_sip.
I'm facing the problem when there is a sudden spike of calls, some of
the calls that are being made during those spikes hang forever
basically. This looks like this:

Reliably getting sip extension name from channel variables
Hi
We're using asterisk 1.4.17 debian package soon moving to 1.8 rpm
package.
When using MixMonitor to do call recordings, for outbound calls I have
been using the channel variable SIPURI to get the originating SIP
extension name. I have now stumbled across a few files where the SIP
extension name must be incorrect when cross referencing the call with
other sources (such as the channel shown

Permission Issue
Hi,
just to keep you updated:
The following trick seems to work for me:
1.) I stopped winbind on the cluster
2.) I deleted the cache: "net cash flush"
Afterwards the result for "id testuser" was not quite the same like the
result on the "old fileserver"
3.) I stopped the ctdb daemon
4.) I backuped /var/lib/samba/winbindd_cache.tdb on all nodes
5.) I restared

SIP and RTP port and IP addresses
Hi all
I'd like to log the client IP addr and port used for SIP and RTP *during* in a
call.
The IPs must be the real source IPs (internet accessible).
How are these parameters available from dialplan?
For instance, ${SIPURI} holds the internal "IP:port" if the client is behind NAT.
I need the external IP:port
