Appradius Installation
Hi there,
I tried to install appradius with asterisk. The appradius instalation finishes
succesfully, but the problem is that I can't find the app_radius.so and
cdr_radius.so files that the installation indicates to copy to the
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules
directory(http://appradius.minitelecom.org/docs/cdr_radius.html).
Was somebody able to install this module? Does it work?

PortaOne's RADIUS client and Appradius
Hi all,
I'm trying to get Asterisk do AAA against a Cisco VSA compatible
RADIUS server/billing platform. I decided to give a try to appradius
(since it was written in C and didn't require all the modifications to
Asterisk that PortaOne's client does) played with it the whole day,
after lots of modifications got it working only to find out that it'll
need a lot more work to

Looking for a prepaid calling card platform
I'm looking for a prepaid calling card platform that:
* easily scales to multiple servers with a common database for: redundancy, capacity, and performance
Looking to start with capacity to handle 100 simultaneous calls and be able to easily scale to 1000+ simultaneous calls.
* in addition to the normal anti-fraud measures, supports an API for easily adding new anti-fraud tests along the

Re: [Asterisk-biz] SS7 and Asterisk solution
We'd be more than willing to test :) Our PRI provider has been trying to
push us over to SS7 for ages. So we'd be very interested in assisting
you.

Softfax/spandsp Makefile.patch rxfax/txfax
I followed the instructions at http://www.opencall.org/instructions.html
and
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-October/025094.html
I was able to compile spandsp (./configure ; make ; make install),
"manually" patched asterisk apps/Makefile (/usr/src/asterisk/apps), as the
supplied patch does not fit the actual CVS apps/Makefile
After make clean ; make install, I

Hardware based DSP
Hi All,
Is it correct to say that by design, asterisk wont make use of any cards
hardware dsp capabilities ?
I don't think that any of the hardware cards currently supported
have any dsp capabilities, but I wanted to know if for example,
in the future a driver was written for a card that did have dsp
capabilities,
would asterisk be able to make any use of it ?
I am only just starting out

Beronet app_saynumber-beta-rc1
Hi list!
Do anybody has success histories about using the Beronet app_saynumber
application? For those that are hearing about for the first time, it?s a
piece of software that enables the use of another language in say_number
commands in asterisk dialplan or AGI scripts.

Billing, Radius, anyone?
Hi All,
I found app_radius and cdr_radius, but I'm not sure how to use them.
They are poorly documented. There are a few open source billing systems
(trabas) out there that use radius as the cdr method and I'm wondering
how this can be integrated with *. Just adding cdr_radius, like
cdr_mysql doesn't work..
Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone know of a billing system that can
just use

startup ok, but what's next to configure Asterisk to use radius? I
looked at the WIKI already but am still confused. So what should I
set in the radius server and what do I need to set on the radius.conf,
extensions.conf, sip.conf or iax.conf file?
Btw, I have the following in radius.conf as by default

asterisk and radius?
Hi all,
I have been looking at some billing solutions for asterisk. I saw
there is Trabas VoIP Billing which apparently is working through
radius cdr records, and also astPP which was recently released, and
CDRTool.
Has anyone been able to succeffully use radius with asterisk for CDR records?
I tried app_radius with freerdius according to the wiki docs, but the
Radius(CPP) keeps playing a
