DTMF queuing problems
Hi,
Using rfc2833, I constantly have the problem that if a user presses
digits reasonably fast,
I will see a bunch of DTMF end emulation of 'X' queued on SIP/xxxxxxxx.
This queuing screws up the DTMF because the digits never get sent!
Is there a way to prevent asterisk from queuing DTMF? Or at least make
it a lot better?
Thanks.

ATA tag queuing broken...
Alright, well it's apparently no surprise to folks that ATA tag queuing
is broken at the moment. Are there any objections to me adding a few
cautious words to ata(4) and tuning(7) that advise _against_ the use
of ata tag queuing given that they're likely the fastest way to reboot
a -STABLE box?
Here's a PR that I tacked a tad bit of info into:

Origin of "Exceptionally long voice queue length queuing to IAX2/blahblah" messages
Hello,
I'm using asterisk for a quite long period, i integrated a lot of stuff to make it behave like any carrier class system, so users can:
manage Call forward on busy
manage Call forward on no answer
manage unconditionnal call forward
call back missed calls
and a lot of such services that can be both configured by menus and dtmf or by web interfaces (PHP+SQL), in fact i recreated

call queuing not detecting caller hang up when call originates from voip provider
Dear all
I've got call queuing working when calls originate from my local site.
After testing I migrated it to calls originating from our voip
provider- it should ring an extension, then queue . All works well
apart from if the caller hangs up when queued: the call hangs around
in the queue as a phantom until one of the extensions answers it and
it is destroyed
Am I doing something wrong?

Queuing Ajax Requests
Hi,
It''s very obvious that for something like Autocomplete if we send a request to the server on every key stroke it''s going to be an overkill.
So, I wanted to check if scriptaculous/prototype has some queuing mechanism for remote calls?
Thanks,
Mandy.

Call Queuing
Hello,
I've spent the last few days installing asterisk, and the support and
documentation available here and on the wiki has been exceptional. I
have now configured an E100P, with about 20 internal SIP extensions
(snom 190), and a handful of international SIP extensions. Everything
is working well - thank you.
I now have a requirement to implement some simple call queuing. The

Cause and cure for "Exceptionally long voice queue length queuing to Local"?
Hello,
We're seeing lots of warnings like the following, running Asterisk
1.6.1.12. Does anyone know the cause or cure?
One explanation I've come across is that the peer is congested and
sending RTCP messages asking us to slow the RTP down. Is there any way
we can verify this?

Exceptionally long queue length queuing
Hi,
We have a box up and we are starting to see a lot of "Exceptionally long
queue length queuing" in the logs. From all the research so far it seems
like this leads to their systems crashing and being unreachable. In our
case the box remains up and takes calls. We are running Asterisk 16.6.1. We
are using MusicOnHold to play online music streams via ffmpeg. Any idea on
how to

Error in http parser or client?
Hello,
I started a little pet project of making a webdav plugin for mongrel.
First thing I did was get the test suite called litmus from
http://www.webdav.org/neon/litmus/
and run it against a completely dummy handler that doesn''t even try to
handle anything.
Then mongrel said to me:
BAD CLIENT (127.0.0.1): Invalid HTTP format, parsing fails.

Agent autologoff dynamic queue members - Brain aches please help
Hi list,
Using Asterisk 1.2.10
I am getting seriously confused by Queues and Agents.
So far I configured my queue and agents, had my agents login using
agentcallback.
Call enters queue agent gets a call, if agent doesn't answer after 20
seconds a flag is set in AstDB (thanks to: Leo Ann Boon), call is returned
to queue and the cycle continues. If the same agent doesn't

Threadpool and queuing of tasks
I recently switched over to v1.0, and things are rolling along pretty well.
However, one thing that has always been a little confusing to me is knowing
when to use thread_pool. Since most of my bgrb workers are called from my
web app to process rather than being scheduled, I''m using the thread_pool
for every call. Unfortunately, that means that I have to split up workers
by how many
