UK Disconnect supervision with TDM400P
Hi
I know this gets covered fairly regularly, but I've had a search through the
archives and can't find anything dealing with this specifically - apologies
if I've missed it though.
I've got a TDM11B with the fxo port plugged into a standard UK BT PSTN line,
loading wcfxs with OPERMODE=UK. All's working well, except if I get an

Disconnect supervision tone detection working for india
Hi ,
Thanks danny nicholas. Finally we get the things done with following.
If i specify busypatten=500,500 then asterisk does not recognize hang up
signal. After removing it only all are working fine.
I choosed 2nd option as per your suggestions.

Disconnect supervision tone detection
Hi,
I am using TDM400 card with 3 fxs and 1 fxo. I am struggling to detect
hangup tone or disconnect supervision tone from my CO. I attached the
recorded wav file which contains my telco's disconnect supervision.

Busydetect problems
Hi guys.
I have a XP100P Clone , and the busydetect dont work for me..
PSTN---Asterisk---Sip---Asterisk----PBX
Any call from pstn side dont disconnect ... I have no disconnect supervision and busydetect dont work...

busydetect and X100P hangups
FYI to anyone else who may be experiencing random hangups; I removed the
busydetect=yes lines from the conf files on my asterisk servers, and
haven't had a hangup since.
I had done that once before and it didn't seem to have much of an
effect, so I'm not breaking out the champagne yet. But so far over
dozens of calls both made and received since I took that line out, I

Does anyone have disconnect supervision working on their TDM400P or X101P
cards (to/from the telco)?

Problem with busydetect and cell phones
I have a very strange problem I'm hoping someone has encountered already.
I've scoured the internet for an answer to this one. My phone company
provides no disconnect supervision. Hence I'm forced to use the busydetect
feature. I have a TDM400 with two FXO ports. If I call from an internal
extension to a landline and then hangup the landline Asterisk detects the
busy signal

Hangup Detection with busydetect
My telco doesn't provide Disconnect Supervision or Polarity Change. So I
figured I have to detect hangups with busydetect=yes in zapata.conf.
I tested it. When the telco sends a busy tone * detects it and hangsup.
So far so good. The problem is the telco doesn't always send a busy
after remote hangup. Most of the time it sends a congestion tone. I am

How to Order Disconnect Supervision from SBC using Adit 600?
Can anyone help me with the term that SBC uses to refer to disconnect
supervision? I have an Adit 600 channel bank which has helped improve the
disconnect detection time down to about 8 seconds. This is still causing some
issues in particular with call progress enabled in * we are having a few
disconnects while calls are in session (about 2 reported in first 5 days of use).

busydetect and random hangups
Hi,
I'm having random hangup problems with zap channels.
If I turn busydetect off in Zapata.conf, * fails completely to detect a
user hangup in the middle of a script.
On the other hand, if I turn it on, everything works much better, but
long calls tend to be hung up without a motive.
Any other parameter that I can try? Any #define that I can tweak and
recompile?

New busydetect routines for analog channels (FXO mostly)
Hello,
I've commited the new busydetect routine to CVS.
You need to cvs update asterisk of course and then choose it
in asterisk/Makefile and recompile asterisk.
All you X100P users that had the problems
with false hangups or the card not being able to detect the busy tone
please check that.
In the asterisk/Makefile you need to find a line
BUSYDETECT =
and uncomment what you want/ comment

busydetect=yes, busycount=5: hangup automtically without reason, why?

Patch: Inbound-only busydetect

I got really tired of false hangups, specially when someone calls from
SIP/IAX/whatever to PSTN, which makes no sense in using busydetect in
the zap channel, as the caller will eventually hear the busy tones and

X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.

This isn't really a question, but it's an issue I experienced that was

chan_capi busydetect
Hi,
I'm using asterisk as softphone for a certain application.
It uses chan_capi for PSDN connection and chan_oss and
the manager as user interface.
When calling someone, who is busy, I can hear at the
speaker the busy indication, but the manager command
"Status" still tells "Ringing" (chan_oss) or "Dialing"
(chan_capi) (until it times out).

Set up an asterisk box, TDM cards, in Mumbai, and doesn't seem to have

far end disconnect supervision
I'm starting to shop for my first channel bank and one of the features
that eveyone seems to recommend is "far end disconnect supervision".
What other terms do various manufactures use to describe this same
feature ?
Is "calling party disconnect" the same as "far end disconnect
supervision" ?
