Hi, I'm trying to connect quadbri between powered ISDN phone and ISDN line: ISDN <---1---> TE - * - NT <--2--> Phone I use quadbri, suse 9.2 and latest 0.2.0-RC7k bristuff. I've used sample settings provided with package, but do get strange error (I think that I have wrong setting for P2P or P2MP setting and cables 1 and 2). Information setting up asterisk with an ISDN NT
Hi Folks, First of all, I've been reading a lot and a lot about asterisk and ISDN-BRI, but is really a complicated world, not like PRI or Analog. I have 2 offices with 2 NT boxes and I want to connect them with Asterisk to route outgoing from one office two the other. At the end I want them to look like this Office2 will have only VoIP phones (not ISDN phones connected to a card in asterisk)

Dahdi - Which process to swap from Octo to QuadBRI ?
Hi, I'll soon replace a Junghanns OctoBRI with a Junghanns QuadBRI. As both use wcb4xxp driver (dahdi 2.3.0, libpri 1.4.10.2 and asterisk 1.6.1), I'm planning to proceed this way : 1. Edit 2 versions of files /etc/dahdi/system.conf and /etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf (one for each card). 2. Link current system.conf and dahdi-channels.conf to QuadBRI files. 3. Power PC off 4. Swap cards

GSM ISDN gateway to quadbri NT port under bristuffed Asterisk - where to set gain (I have unreliable inband dtmf recognition )?
Hi, I'm getting unreliable dtmf recognition (it works fine for 4-5 digits, errors (duplicates) on more), when transferred inband from gsm gateway to NT port of quadbri under bristuffed Asterisk..... Since Asterisk is claimed to have good dtmf recognizer, I suspect there are some settings to workarouned... I've tried dtmf relax, but didn't help, so I suspect gain settings.... Is

2x analog interface (1 ISDN and 1 door phone) recomendation for Europe ?
Hi, I'd like to use Asterisk with ISDN interface and normal analog interface to door phone (or any other low cost connection type to door phone). What would be your recomendations for needed HW in Europe? Is it possible to have this in one PCI card? Are there any lower cost voip door phones? Thanks in advance, Robert.

What happens if quadbri or octobri loses power - do they have power failure feature ?
Hi, I mistakenly posted this to Dev list.... I wonder if I use quadbri or octobri cards to insert Asterisk between ISDN PBX and ISDN line - if power of Asterisks fails - will those card connect PBX directly to ISDN line ? If not are there any other simple switching devices, that would do this (in power fail it will connect ISDN PBX to ISDN lines directly) ? Thanks in advance, regards, Rob.

Dahdi and Junghanns QuadBRI
Hi, I'm using a revision 6822-enabled Dahdi-Tools (see https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=13897) with a Junghanns QuadBRI. 1. Do I still need qozap driver ? If positive, how is it recommended to get it ? 2. Which line should be included in /etc/dahdi/modules to have the appropriate driver loaded ? 3. The process I'm planning to use is : A- Hand edit /etc/dadhi/modules,

Faxing Suggestions
I wrote a week or two ago about a problem I was having with a TDM400P with 2 FXS. The problem was reliable fax transfers. There were often slow or had communication failures during transmission. Richard replied to my post and told me this is an ongoing problem that might have a solution in the weeks to come. However, I was wondering if anyone had any alternate solutions for faxing with an

So many Asterisk Patches - Which do I choose and use?
Ok, I usually use the latest stable CVS, with no patches or modifications. If figured if there was a worthwhile patch, Mark would have already included it. However, there was that neat patch about being able to press a certain key and it'd begin recording in mid-stream, that was an awesome feature and I patched my latest features.c file with that patch. But I keep seeing mentions of other

ISDN: Inband DTMF doesn't trigger transfer feature
Hi there, I just upgraded a relatively old Asterisk installation (1.2) in our office to a relatively new version (1.6svn from last wednesday) which runs a Junghans QuadBRI card [1]. To get this flying I got dahdi-linux, dahdi-tools and libpri from SVN as well. After a while of juggling it "works". What doesn't work: connected ISDN devices (Gigaset phones connected to QuadBRI
