Help: RED alarm on Wildcard TE122 card
Hi, I have been trying to get a Wildcard TE122 card running here the last couple of days. libpri and zaptel are all installed and configured to E1 specs. The jumper on the card is on, so configured for E1 (I'm in Norway). When running zttool, I get 'Alarms: RED' on the single card installed. Other information in zttool: Current alarms: Red Alarm Sync source: Internally clocked

PPP dialout via * server
I previously posted about this problem and received suggestions involving turning off echo cancellation. As far as I can tell, echo cancellation is already disabled on this channel, so I'm back. What I've got is a small home setup with a single four-port Digium card: Module 0: Installed -- AUTO FXS/DPO Module 1: Installed -- AUTO FXS/DPO Module 2: Installed -- AUTO FXS/DPO Module 3:

Hello everyone! I installed Asterisk following the instructions of the book "Asterisk: The Future of Telephony". (very nice book) However, I failed. I installed zaptel, libpri and asterisk (in this order). The Installation of Zaptel is successful and my TDM400P is correctly detected: # zttool Alarms Span OK Wildcard S400P

Polycom Auto-Answer
I am having a problem with Polycom auto-answer. I have the auto-answer working between PhoneA and PhoneB, but when I try to use the intercom between more then one phone I start having problems. PhoneA dials *3 which calls PhoneB, PhoneC, and PhoneD. All the phones ring, but only one will pick up, the rest will hang up and I get this error on Asterisk: Got SIP response 500 "Internal Server

Commercial SSL certs on Asterisk 1.8.10.0 with Polycom phones for encrypted calls using TLS and SRTP?
Hi all, We're testing TLS and SRTP on Asterisk 1.8.10.0 and have it working with a commerical (not self-sign) AlphaSSL wildcard (GlobalSign) using Blink Lite 1.6.2 as per https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Secure+Calling+Tutorial We've tested with Bria on an iPhone and that doesn't recognised the commercial CA (GlobalSign Root CA). On a Yealink 28P with V60/V61 is registers

incoming zaptel calls fail
Using the latest SVN of zaptel and asterisk, I can no longer receive incoming analog calls. The caller just hears it ringing but Asterisk doesn't pick up. I am seeing these error messages: [Apr 9 09:38:02] WARNING[16564]: chan_zap.c:6470 ss_thread: CallerID returned with error on channel 'Zap/2-1' [Apr 9 09:38:50] WARNING[16570]: chan_zap.c:6470 ss_thread: CallerID

Native bridging analog phones trouble DAHDI channels.
I own a TDM2400 board, with three FXO modules and one FXS. I'am having trouble with analog sip phones, from two different equipment. (Grandstream GXW-4024 192.168.0.105, and Audiocodes MP202), sometimes when I am calling someone, then I press flash, and then call someone else, both calls stay connected after I hang up. Newbie Questions . . .
Hello all. My company currently has an older Executone PBX system that we are outgrowing. Rather than wait until the last minute to make a hasty decision, I thought it would be a good idea to do some research and compare options first. My expertise is in computers and networking, and telephony systems are mostly foreign to me. What we currently have are 5 incoming POTS lines and 25

Polycom and call waiting again..
I searched and read all the relevant posts, but I still don't have a solution to my problem.. I've got a small queue for tech support calls using AddQueueMember. The agents are using IP300's from polycom. In my example, only one agent is logged int. When a call comes into the queue, asterisk sends the call to the one agent logged in. The agent answers and is talking to the
