ANALOG FXO ZAPTEL & WCFXO & WCTDM module issues seen with intermittent analog lines
Hello, I have found a "bug", I think in the way TDM400P cards handle FXO interface disconnect/re-connect problems. Normally I do keep all the wires connected from my CO / PABX quite securely, but I had a need to re-route the cable from one side of the desk to another, and I simply disconnected the RJ-45 connector and plugged it back in. THIS PROMPTLY RESULTED IN VERY VERY SCRATCHY AUDIO

dialplan selection
Hello, I would like to parse inbound Asterisk IAX2 7-digit numbers in the form of 123-4567 and strip out the first four digits, and then dial whatever number digits remain. If I only have three digits (000-999) and have a mix of channels (ZAP, SIP, IAX2) could someone please point out how I can use a single DIAL command to just dial the extension regardless of the type of channel. .. hi, we have just received our first shipment of digium cards, FXO + FXS combinations, and collected all the hardware for our custom clone server which will house our test-bed for asterisk. I'm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh so you will understand we may not always be able to get all the hardware we need, when we need them and in the manner that other people are used to.. from a catalog or from a

transform table to matrix
I have a text file that I have imported into R. It contains 3 columns and 316940 rows. The first column is vegetation plot ID, the second species names and the third is a cover value (numeric). I imported using the read.table function. My problem is this. I need to reformat the information as a matrix, with the first column becoming the row labels and the second the column labels and the cover

ext3 Patch doesn't work with 2.4.13
Hi, I just wanted to compile my kernel 2.4.13 with the ext3-2.4.13-pre6 patch, but it doesn't work. It seems, that the patching failes by replacing some things in a textfile. Does anyone of you know, if there is a upcoming solution for this? Kind regards Jan Albrecht -- Jan Albrecht Phone: +49-5241-80-88404 System Consultant UNIX/NT Fax:

Ext3, 2.4.10, and 2.4 in general
Hello, The 0.9.9 2.4.10pre4 patch doesn't apply. There are 5 rejects. The first three are easy to fix, but the fourth in vmscan.c will be very difficult without being a developer. The fifth I am not sure about. This brings up the fact that many of us are using ext3 and have to patch every time a new kernel comes out. I really think we need to strong arm Linus or something and get

Weird erratic error and illogical error message, could someone explain this?
Hello, It's several days I try to track this bug, and even cannot cook a reproducible example. Yet, it occurs consistently in a long-running task after a variable period of time. Here is an example: ... my long-running code [as I said, cannot give something simple that produces this bug in a reproducible manner] Error in match(x, table, nomatch = 0L) : formal argument

Feature request: non-dropping regmatches/strextract
I do think keeping the default behavior is desirable for backwards compatibility; my suggestion is not to change default behavior but to add an optional argument that allows a different behavior. Although this can be implemented in a user-defined function, retaining empty matches facilitates programmatic use, and seems to be something that should be available in base R. It is available, for

Hi, I seem to have a problem with compiling the kernel 2.4.13 on redhat 7.2? It would compile fine but have errors about ext3 support on reboot. I download ext3-2.4-0.9.13-2413.gz to my linux machine to enable it be useful with ext3 support but when I try to gunzip it with the instructions gunzip < ~/ext3-2.4-0.9.13-2413.gz | patch -p1 i get gunzip: stdin: not in gzip format I get an
