New Server donation - Thanks :)
I would like to inform the CentOS user community that we have received a
nice new server donation from XpressAccess Web Hosting
( http://xpressaccess.com/ ). I would like to thank XpressAccess and
Dwight for working with us to get this server up and running.
If you need to host a domain, why not check out XpressAccess, or one of
our other donors ( http://www.centos.org/mirrors/ ), most of which

NVidia Hardware Donation possible
Hi,
I talked to our IT guy over lunch. He thinks there is an old GT630 with
384 shaders somewhere. The 384 shader GPU is the GK208.
Given we can find it and it is obsolete, I probably can donate this one too.
Let me know if you are looking for this one.
Regards,
Martin

Sure, the GK208 would be nice for me. :-)

I'm (just) interested by Kepler cards actually. :-)
Because I already have a bunch of Tesla, Fermi and one Maxwell.

We do greatly appreciate donations from Samba users, but they really
are donation, they are not a proxy for the purchase of developer time.
We keep that quite separate, it avoids stepping on the toes of the
commercial

Samuel,
in the meantime this matter is driving me crazy.
I found a Quadro K610M, this should have the GK208 GPU. Don't know if it
works, it was in our store-room. Can check on Friday in what state the
card is and what lspci says. But, on a first look, it appears quite OK.
Also I am not sure I can actually get the card, will have to check this
too on Friday.
If this attempt to get a

Make a donation via PayPal? (was: [R] Monetary support to the R-project)
Dear R developers
I understand that this is not a proper r-devel message, but it still
touches to the organisation of the R project.
I would like to make a small donation to the project, but I am not
comfortable with sending my credit card details via post or mail and,
as echoed elsewhere on r-help, would prefer to go through a generally
accepted service such as PayPal.
Would there be any

CHINA: Donation Scheme and Quality Community Development
G'Day All,
We have been supporting linux as a side business for a while (because
we use that skill set in our own value chain internally) and we are
now going to start targeting the wider local Chinese market and not
just the foreign companies and joint ventures.
As such we expect to see tremendous growth in this market segment
this year due to the quickly dwindling support of local

Donation programme
Is there any decision about the donation programme?
The Web page still says: "If you are looking to make a cash dontation to
the CentOS Project, please check back here after August 15th, 2009."
I assume that donations aren't refused, but is there a suggested amount,
as there used to be?

Samuel,
the HP GT630 is unfortunately the GK107. Given we find the other GT630
model I will check it and come back to you.
Are you interested in any of the other two cards?

Paypal donation or Amazon wishlist for core team?
Is there any Paypal donation or Amazon wishlist for rails core team
members?
I know programming in Ruby & Rails should be reward enough, but its
probably not a bad idea to let rails users express their appreciation in
this way.

hardware available for donation
To any interested developers:
Dell Linux OS dev team is doing a lab cleanup and has several Nvidia cards available for donation. Please email me privately if you are interested (I'm not subscribed to the list).
Available:
various Nivdia cards. various generations, mostly quadro fx cards. We have 10-20 cards available. None of them are the super-high-end cards (that I know of).

Donations to Xiph
I have a few thoughs and questions about donating to
Xiph that I hop you have a minute for. Here we go:
== "Who donated what" list ==
As it seems we don't have a "Who donated what" list.
I thought creating such a list could increase motivation
to donate to some parties. What I currently have in mind
would be to start listing donations from now on below
